#Fun Fact- The name Earth is at least 1.000 years old. It simply translates to “the ground”. The Greek name for Earth was Gaia – Mother Earth.
He stood scowling at his wife's figure reclining on the couch of his room with Rudra's mac book she had requested for this night. His eyes widened like that of the saucepan when he saw what movie was being played; it was that forty-eight-year-old actor's film. He had never loathed someone to this extent but him. The older and rustier actor had somehow embezzled his wife's attention which he was deprived of. Gritting his teeth, which somehow were passed by genetics from his bade papa, he strode to her snatching the mac book from her grip.
"What the hell Shivi?" Annoyed with his behaviour, which was bitter since their visit here Annika shouted in her high pitched tone.
"Don't shout." Tossing the mac book over the bed he stared at her. "Do you have any idea how will you be able to solve this? Instead, you are watching that oldie's film. Are you out of your mind?"
"What do you mean by 'Oldie'? HR isn't any older, okay. Did you see how he walked on the dunes in the desert with music syncing? Uff I'm in love with him." As Annika gushed over the particular actor whom he particularly despised for the past few months, he slammed his closed fist in pure anger at her carefree attitude and jealousy by her compassion for the actor, not him.
"You are out of your mind!" He pulled his silky smooth hair with his fist and continued. "Listen let us talk. I don't want to yell and spoil our lives. Okay?" When Annika rolled her eyes perhaps nodded vaguely Shivaay sighed and began.
"I know you are a carefree young woman seeking freedom from family. But this decision of yours, to get married randomly would have cost a life. Don't you think?" He composed his breathing and asked with softness filling in making it hard for Annika to recognise.
"That was only the option." She mumbled.
"That wasn't. You could have dealt with it differently. You could have talked to Aai regarding this, however, you choose to make your judgment in haste. Think once again."
"She was the first reason to this point. She was adamant till you came into the picture. I, baba and Ajji tried to convince her nevertheless, she didn't bend." Tears were ready to spill out, but pushing them back Annika struggled to meet his eyes. In one way she knew that she was wrong at the same time even her was wrong, shouting at her in the family gathering.
"She is this stringent because of troublesome behaviour of yours. I know this can't be changed overnight but at least try avoiding it." Stepping to Shivaay leaned over her and wiped the tears which were rolling down her cheeks. "Just imagine, if I wasn't there at the spot of the wedding and with that instinct, our lives would have been different. The man who would have married or less tried so would have different stories."
Sniffing at his words she was tempted to match her eyes with him. The glassy view in front didn't make much sense however his thumb pads on her sluggish, dampened cheeks calmed down a bit.
"Also I know that you aren't any damsel in distress, that you were waiting for prince charming. You are very much capable of handling yourself but please try to be out of danger, you always tend to do so."
"I'm sorry." Slumping her shoulder low Annika managed to whisper out in extreme remorse.
"Don't be apologetic maybe you should try to take time for important decisions. You might regret some taken in haste in future years. Like our wedding."
"I will not. I would never."
"Who knows?" He shrugged his shoulder as a response. "In the end, we might not be the same as now."
