Dimitri just laid there silently the whole time still disappointed that he couldn't be given attention. Once they arrived home Dimitri had still been quiet and unmoving until he heard Javier talk. He turned his head towards the Alpha before he got up and hopped up and straight into Javier's lap. He then proceeded to stand on his hind legs while keeping his forefeet against Javier. He stuck his head up and looked up at the Alpha while his little nose and tail wiggled.
He smiled a little and scratched the White rabbit's ears. "There. Your attention." He said with a happier tone. "Ready to go inside?" He asked. He knew his little rabbit was ready to be home. "Let's get you in." He added before opening the truck door. He grabbed the bunny and got out.
Dimitri squeaked happily as he was given attention. He enjoyed the scratches and was actually satisfied. As soon as the Alpha opened the door and stepped out Dimitri turned back into his humanly form and rushed inside. He couldn't wait to lay down and relax. He smiled and followed along. He always kept a spare key for Dimitri under their carpet. "The key is under the carpet dear." He hollered to the Rabbit. He was glad to be home as well. To not be stressed and all.
Dimitri immediately grabbed the key from under the carpet and unlocked the door. He gladly ran inside after putting the key back not wanting to wait to relax. Once inside he ran straight to Javier's room and jumped into his bed while curling up. He sniffed the Alpha's bedding actually glad that the bedding was still soaked in the Alpha's scent. They had been gone for so long that he was actually afraid their beds would stink of mildew and the whole house would've been taken over by spiders. He was glad everything was just like they left it. While Dimitri snuggled into the Alpha's bed Dimitri's scent had became, a tad bit sweeter.
Javier sighed and walked in the house the sweet smell hit him, even though it was a weak smell he could smell it. He knew to avoid the rabbit for the rest of the time. Even if it meant sleeping on the couch he had to avoid him for the fear he'd loose his personal self control or the rabbit coming on him. Either way Javier knew to keep away. "Welp looks like I'll be sleeping on the couch." He said as he went to the couch and sat down. He was a bit tired still since being woken up earlier than he wanted to be woken up. "BUNNY I'M TAKING A NAP." He hollered to the white rabbit.
Dimitri jumped slightly when he had heard the alpha holler. He just stayed still in Javier's bed understanding why he was going to take a nap and why he wasn't coming to his bed. He got up and wrapped a blanket around himself, while making sure his neck was covered. He soon walked out of the room and to the Living room with a bright red face. He walked up to Javier and sat down on the ground. "You can go take a nap in your room. I'll go to my room and hide in my cage. I don't want to steal your bed and that section of the house. I feel bad every time I do..." Dimitri mumbled.
"It is fine bunny. You can have the bed." He said as he laid down in the bed. He wasn't upset that the bunny took the bed. Instead he was gonna be able to smell the rabbit's scent once they where finished with their heat. Now that is if the bunny doesn't try anything that could trigger an unwanted reaction from him. Not that he minded.
Dimitri stopped walking to his room for a second and looked back before proceeding onwards. He honestly hated not being by the other's side but he knew it would be best so nothing that he would regret would happen.
After a whole week of holding himself captive in his own room he had finally come out of of hiding. He was feeling much better and was smiling happily. He walked out of his room with one of Javier's favorite shirts that had been missing for weeks on his back and Javier's blanket that had been dirtied with unmentionable things in hand. He immediately walked to the laundry room and threw the blanket in the wash. He hadn't spoke to Javier as he walked down the halls and started doing all sorts of chores, which wasn't unusual for him after his heats. The unusual thing was his happy mood. He had never come out of his room after being in heat all happy. He was usually in a crabby mood and would complain about every ailment he had felt. He was just silent and happy all the way through.
Javier had ignored the smells and mood of the rabbit during their time. So now seeing something was off he jumped up and smiled and looked down. "Bunny come here." He called to his rabbit. Hoping that his bunny would come over.
