Your eyes widened as the doorknob turned. If he found you, you were done for without a doubt. You dove onto the floor and rolled under the bed, hoping that your efforts would not be fruitless in the long run.
"(Y/n), you can hide but you can't run." His voice called out before he chuckled deeply. You covered your mouth with your hands to quiet your breathing so that he wouldn't find you.
"You know that I know everything about you, including your favourite hiding spots." He laughed maniacally as he grabbed your leg and dragged you out from under the bed. You screamed as you tried to kick him off. Your fingers grabbed at the bedposts, trying to free yourself from his grasp.
"Satoru!" Your saviour's voice called out sternly from the doorway. You instantly looked over to the silhouette with his arms crossed angrily. Gojo's head also snapped over to look.
"Nanamiii~" Gojo instantly let you go and threw his hands up to welcome the new face.
"What are you doing? That isn't helping at all!" Nanami scolded Gojo.
"Help me," you whispered with wide eyes, pleading to him for help.
Gojo had been taking care of you for the last few days, ever since you first got sick. It had been exhausting because he hardly took care of you and you had to take care of him. He was an absolute menace of a man and it really made you wonder why you were still his friend at times like this.
Gojo's remedy for sickness was a lot of kisses on your forehead and some unknown, god-awful stew he claimed was a cure for everything from hangovers to broken bones. It reeked of wet dog and had the consistency of gravy which was unsettling considering you were supposed to drink it. You had been refusing to even be in the same room as this abomination but Gojo had finally cornered you today.
"What have you been doing here?" Nanami asked, stepping into the room and turning on the light, making you squint your eyes.
"Taking care of (y/n) but you know... never listens to me." Gojo leaned forwards to stage-whisper the last part, making you glare at him.
Nanami sighed and walked over to you. He placed his hand on your forehead and instantly pulled it away.
"(Y/n), your fever is awful. I knew I shouldn't have let him watch over you while you're sick." He tenderly spoke to you. If it weren't for the already present heat in your cheeks, you would've felt the blush even more.
"That fever has gone up because my stew has not been eaten!" Gojo defended with his hand on his chest.
"Is that what that smell was? I thought you had decided to take up all the resident strays in the apartment, including yourself." Nanami frowned at Gojo.
"You're so mean!" He cried out in response.
"I just want to sleep in peace, please." You begged, knowing that Nanami would help you out with that simple request.
"Of course, (y/n)," he smiled fondly at you. He turned to Gojo with all the affection gone from his face, "get out."
"But--"
"No."
"What--"
"No."
"Aw, come on!"
"Alright, let's go then."
"Hey, you tricked me!"
"No."
Nanami grabbed Gojo and physically dragged him out of the room, slamming the door behind them. You breathed out a sigh of relief at the thought that you were finally going to rest. However, your relief was short-lived when Gojo burst back into the room.
"Satoru!" You cried out.
"I almost forgot something, it'll be quick." He put a finger up in the air matter-of-factly.
"What?" You asked. He walked over and placed a soft kiss on your forehead.
"A get better kiss. Why do you think everything else has gone away except for your fever? My kisses, duh." He smiled before turning and running away before Nanami could catch him again. You smiled at the display of love Gojo had shown you. He was a menace but you would always be his friend, even if you were technically something more than that.
A/N : I decided I've been mean to Gojo for too long now, hence the quick cutesy, wholesome chapter with him.
