The Great hall

When we get off the train, Draco, Blaise and I head to the Slytherin dorms to unpack our things before we have go to the great hall for the welcome back dinner. I walk into my dorm room and spot my roommate, Mika. We have been roommates since first year, we get along really well. She has beautiful olive skin and long, dark, brown hair. Her eyes resemble a sunset. She is the only friend I have atbHogwarts that is a girl.

"Mika!" I exclaim excitedly as I run to her. "I have missed you so much", I say while hugging her. We unpacked our bags and talk about all the things we did over the summer, it felt good to talk to Mika again I missed having long chats with her, I can tell her anything. Sure I talk to Draco, but there are some things I can't talk to him about. For example in second year I got my period for the first time and I was totally unprepared. I had to rush to the bathroom half way through transfiguration and of course, Draco being Draco, he followed me. I told him to go and find some 'feminine' products and he came back half an hour later with a stack full of pads and just threw them at me, his face was as red as a tomato and all he said was "don't ever make me do something like that again", and he walked out. Later I found out he asked madam Pomfrey and she ended up giving him a very detailed lecture about periods. So after that dreadful experience I decided to make a girlfriend, luckily Mika is my roommate so it was easy to make friends with her.

Time flew by as we talked and it was time to head to the great hall for the welcome back feast. As we entered we were met with a sea of students, we made our way over to the Slytherin table and spotted Blaise, Draco, and unfortunately Pansy sitting down. Pansy was holding onto Draco's arm and leaning her head on his shoulder, Draco kept on trying to nudge her off but Pansy wouldn't budge, that chick has an iron grip.

"Move so Ada can sit down". Draco says as he pushes pansy off him.

"She can sit somewhere else." Pansy replies moving closer to Draco.

"What makes you think you have a say in this matter? Move before I hex you!"

"But Dracy.."

"Don't call me that, it makes you sound like a pathetic prat." Draco says as he cuts Pansy off.

Pansy immediately gets up and moves away, she is clearly upset at what Draco said. I kinda feel bad for her, but she does bring it on herself. No matter how many times Draco says he's not interested she still thinks she has a chance.

I go sit next to Draco and Mika sits beside me. We listen to Dumbledore's speech and watch the first years get sorted into their houses. Watching the first years get sorted is extremely boring, but at least we have Blasie to make it somewhat entertaining, although it's hard not to burst out laughing, we have already been death stared by Snape twice. The sorting ceremony finally finishes and the feast begins. I load my plate up with some roast potatoes and meat. As I listen to Blasie tell a funny story I look over to the Hufflepuff table, I see Cedric with his friends, God he's gorgeous. Cedric's eyes met mine, we held eye contact for a few seconds before he smirked and looked away. My heart feels like it's going to burst out of my chest.

"Draco," I say while tugging on his sleeve.

"what are you so exited about," he asks giving me a strange look.

"Cedric smiled at me, I mean he actually smiled at me." I say the smile on my face growing even bigger.

"Ada are you sure he smiled at you and not someone on the Ravenclaw table." Draco said in a condescending way.
"That someone being Cho Chang." Blaise replied with a smile.
"Hahaha!" I laugh sarcastically, "Is it so hard to believe that Cedric smiled at me?" I asked the boys.

"Not at all, we just think it makes more sense for him to smile a Cho, you know the girl he's dating." Blaise reply's.

"I wouldn't be to sure about that Blaise," Mika says, "apparently Cedric and Cho had a huge fight, there are rumours going around that they broke up during the summer."

"Really?!" I ask excitedly.

"That's what I heard, Luna told me that Cho told her that Cedric broke up with her through a letter over the summer." Mika replied.

"Through a letter that's harsh, Draco wouldn't even do that." Blaise says shooting a grin at Draco.

"Thats because Draco dosent even bother to remember the girls name after he has spent the night with her." I reply snarkily.

"I don't do that." Draco says in a harsh tone.

"Ok then, last year at that party we threw after winning our quidditch match against Gryffindor you had your lips attached to a girl the whole night, what was her name." Blasie asked Draco in an amused tone.
Draco sat in silence for a few seconds before he finally spoke.
"Bella." Draco said confidently.

"Bella? Bella! Oh my days, her name was Cassy! Man just said the most generic name he could think of, Draco mate there is something truly wrong with you." Blasie shouts in a fit of laughter, making all of us laugh even Draco.
As we get ready to leave the great hall the Weasley twins, Fred and George come up to us.

"What do you two want?" Draco asks coldly.

"Calm down blondie," said George, "no need to get your knickers in a knot," said Fred.

"We just wanted to extend an invite to you guys for our first party of the year," said George, "it's going to be wicked," said Fred as he smiled a Mika. "It's tonight, in the Gryffindor common room," said George. "Drinks will be provided", they said in unison as they walked away.
