Today was full of surprises and I dont think I can end my day without having some sweets. So much for the drama, it's time to relaaax.
I got inside my car and drive away without having to know where I was going. I guess I will just let my car decide my fate.
"I bet they have an ice cream here"
I thought to myself as I got out of my car
"Good evening, Maam" someone greeted me and I just gave him a nod. I didn't have the energy to smile back
"May I have your order, Miss"
"Two mint chocolate ice cream please" I said to the waiter as I settled on my seat.
"Two? Are you sure, Maam?"
"But you are..." I never let him finish his words.
Was he about to nag at me because
I am ordering two for myself?
Am I not allowed to do that here?
Is there a law saying that a person is prohibited to order more than one cup of ice cream just because she is alone?
I rendered him a smile before I started talking again
"Alright, just make it four then and one macchiato please" Good thing he didnt blabber nonsense again so I was able to sit there peacefully. I didn't have to wait that long because in a split of second my order was already infront my eyes. Great, this is what I was talking about
While I was enjoying my ice cream I let my eyes roam for a bit. I never noticed that the place where my feet brought me was this majestic—the atmosphere was relaxing plus there was a mellow music playing on the background.
The lights were pleasing to the eyes except for the people who were there sitting with their partners, if you guys think that I am being bitter here well I am not.
The place would be much great if I was just there alone xd
"How I wish my Ryujinnie was here with me, she would very much love this ice cream" That was the thought that's been playing inside my head while I was eating my stuff.
Maybe we'll visit here next time when we're already like...fine. We can drop here by tomorrow haha I dont want us to stay like this for a long time so yeah gotta make friends with her later. If I know she will be the one who will ignore me later just like what I did to her earlier lol that kid really
I was so into my ice cream that I didn't notice someone was already sitting there with me
I just cast a glance at her when I heard her asked a question
"Are you waiting for someone? Can I sit here?" She never waited for my reply and eventually occupied the seat infront of me.
I was actually about to say no but she was already seated, that would be rude if I ask her to find another seat
"Lisa..." she muttered
"You're here" I said nonchalantly as I get my stuffs together ready to step out of the cafè.
You guys know who's here. I am almost done so in any minute now I can already get out of her face. I know she doesn't want me here and same goes with me, why did we have to cross paths again? Seriously?
I sip my macchiato and finally stood up. At last, I'd escape from this uncomfy atmosphere I ended up with but I never had the chance to do so because she suddenly called me
"Lisa, can you stay here for a moment.."
"Nope, I'm going somewhere" I replied
I thought she would no longer be talking to me but she did, again.
"I'm coming with you"
"No, you're not allowed to. Bye" I let out a heavy sigh before walking away from her.
My heart suddenly felt so heavy but why?
I am just doing the right thing and this is what I'm told to do. I've been running away from her for like 15 years already so why am I being hesitant right now...
I hurriedly get to my car because my feet might end up betraying me, it might brought me to where she was but before I could get inside my car I noticed a hand grabbing me from behind
"Lisa please...can we talk?"
"We already did earlier, right? So now get your hands off me" I never tried to look at her. I just dont want to look at her
"Wait. Are you mad at me?" Her voice sounded mad but still I never dared to look at her.
"I'm not, why would I even be mad at you" I shot back and manage to open the car's door this time then I started the engine even when she was still trynna tell me something. I no longer wanted to hear more from her and I guess my behavior towards her is enough to make her understand that
When I was a little far, the rain suddenly started pouring so hard that I needed to get back to where she was to check on her. I don't even know why did I have to do that for, there's actually a cafè where I last saw her so there's no way she'd be getting all wet, that's what I expected but when I got there I saw her outside bathing under the rain. What a fool she is.
What was she thinking? What if I never had the conscience to get back to her, how long would she keep up don't tell me til the rain actually stops?
"What are you...doing here?" that's the very first thing she asked the moment she saw me. I dont know if i'll be offended or what
"I dont know either" I said shaking my head
"You came back for me..."
What's wrong with her voice? Is she trynna seduce me? Why does she have to talk to me that way..
"Dont be flattered. I just didn't have a choice" I muttered
"You still care about me.."
"Stop making this a big deal. Just get inside of the car" She finally stopped her blabber and finally submit to my words
