"Why did you come back?" I can feel that her eyes were on me so I never tried to look at her.
Why is she suddenly asking me that kind of question I told her already that I dont even know why I get back to her...
"Again, stop making this a big deal. This means nothing" I hope she would no longer be asking me questions because I can't seem focus as to what I'm doing. I am driving a car and I dont want us to get into an accident
"After all these years...you finally showed up"
There's a hint of sadness in her voice. I dont know what I'm supposed to tell her or how I should react to what she just said but one thing is for sure I dont like where this is going.
She isn't gonna bring up something that happened in the past, is she?
I dont have the slightest interest of answering her questions
"Lisa, did you really have to do that?"
I couldn't just shut the f*ck up so I answered her this time
"What? I Did what?"
I am literally losing my patience but I am still trying to be nice to her
"Why did you leave? Did you really have to do that?"
"Like...did you really have to? Why didn't you try to be patient with me..."
I stopped the car and glanced at her coldly. If the rain just stopped I would have left her somewhere else cause she already is bothering me so much.
There's no need to ask me those questions because she knew the answer herself
"Let's not talk about this. Tell me your address, I'll get you home" This is the only reason why I took her—I want to make sure she gets home safe, nothing else. I waited for her reply but she never said a word.
Cool she zipped her mouth when I already gave her the permission to speak.
"I missed you...Did you not miss me?"
I felt her hands being intertwined with mine and I eventually shrugged it away. Who told her she was allowed to hold me
"Your address. Give me your address"
I said, already getting pissed
"What's with the attitude?" She even had the guts to ask me that huh. When she noticed that I was running out of patience she finally told me her address.
When we arrived at the place a huge building appeared before me. Why on earth are we here? This is a hotel not her house
"Why on earth did you bring me here?" I shut my eyes out of anger
"Correction, I just told you the address and you were the one who BROUGHT me here"
"Let's go?" She was about to get out of the car but I made her turn to me once more
"It's still raining hard, put this on your head"
I took my jacket off and handed it over
"How about you..."
"Worry about yourself" I plainly said
"Aren't you gonna come with me?" She threw a gaze upon my face so I needed to look away. I have my reasons why I dont want to look at her, I just dont want to, period
"You coming or not?" she asked, already getting impatient
"Yeah, I am"
I dont know if I am just assuming things but I really did see her smirk, what was that smirk all about?
Yeah whatever.
When I was getting nearer to where she was I overheard her blabber to the receptionist. Good thing I made it right on time because she wanted to book a room for the both of us.
I can't imagine sharing the same room with her. I didnt even want to talk to her nor see her with my very eyes
"I am taking another room" I told the receptionist as soon as I arrived there
"No. We're gonna be in the same room"
She disagreed so I threw her a "what are you doing" look
"Unfortunately, we only have one room left" and right there my world crumble unlike the person I was with, she seemed so happy with the news
There's now way I am sleeping in the same room with her. That wouldn't make any sense because I am seriously trying to avoid her. It's even more peculiar because we always seem to cross paths.
Why on earth is this happening to me?
"Go get that room. I am going to sleep somewhere else"
I almost forgot about my kiddo being alone in the hotel I booked for the both of us.
She must be thinking as to where I am now because it's already a bit late.
I slid my hands into my pocket to check my phone if there's even message from Ryujin and I was disappointed when I didn't see any.
Cool, now I am even more upset.
"Have you had your..."
I wasn't able to finish my words because I realized that I am already talking to nobody.
I was supposed to invite her to have dinner with me but I guess I'm gonna go solo I mean dinner would be much great without her, right? I would enjoy my foods better
How disrespectful, she left without even telling me.
I never have to leave the hotel because they've got everything I need.
If you want a heavy meal they have a restaurant and right next to it is a snack inn to satisfy your cravings. If you want to relax and have some fun at the same time they have a pool where they serve beverages.
Relaxing at the pool while taking a sip of your favorite drinks? That would be sooo fun
Wondering where did I get those infos from? I simply asked the receptionist. I may bring someone here someday lol I wonder who am I gonna have to do it with.
Anyway, this hotel is a complete package
The moment I was done having my dinner I thought of heading to where I supposed to go—to the hotel where my kid is but I found myself standing infront of room 23.
You guys know where my feet brought me to.
I knocked a few times and there I saw how her face brightened up the moment I appeared before her eyes
She seemed to be genuinely happy and right at that very moment I wont deny that my heart skipped a beat.
What just happened—
"Lisa, can I hug you..."
I immediately get to her and wrapped her in my arms. I dont know what prompted me that I suddenly did that.
"I thought...I lost you again..."
She said as she hugged me even more
"Stay with me, dont ever think of leaving me again..." she sounded like she was about to crumble
