Lily stood in the Reynolds home holding the small hands of her two children. Dallas and Asher had never been more nervous in their lives. "Mama, who are they?" Austin asked sizing up both Dallas and Asher.
Lily knelt down to face her twins. "You remember when Mama told you that you both were so special that you got two Daddies, but they were too busy to see you just yet?" They nodded their heads. "Well, these really awesome men are your Daddies."
It wasn't great, but Lily was ready to get this over with. The moment she felt the twins weren't feeling it she was out. Austin and Kinsley stared at them for a minute before Kinsley let go of Lily's hand and ran over to Asher. "Pick me up, Daddy!" Asher caught her right as she lunged at him and laughed. He threw her in the air and reveled at the way she laughed and giggled.
"Aussie come on! It's fun!" Kinsley giggled at her twin brother. Austin looked up at a now standing Lily. "It's okay, bubs. You can go if you want." He looked back at the men before walking over to Dallas.
"You're my true Papa, aren't you?" Dallas looked at him wide eyed and then Lily. "Yes, Austin, Dallas and I made you just like Asher and me made Kinsley. But they both want to be your fathers. Is that okay?"
Austin looked at Asher before shrugging. Austin ran back to Lily with his arms up and she picked him up and set him on her hip. "What do you two say about going to the park?" Asher asked tickling Kinsley.
"Mama is that the one by the big pointy building?" Dallas looked at her. "You want to go to that park? It's really old." Austin replied yes causing her to laugh. "They want to go to the playground in front of the clocktower." Dallas chuckled and Austin just looked at him intrigued.
They made their way to the playground and the kids were excited. Dallas was happy that Austin had his very own Asher in a sense. They sat on a bench and watched as the kids played. Lily found herself like so many times in between Asher and Dallas and sighed internally. They were no longer the teenage boys she knew and loved. They were grown men that had filled out in the best way. She couldn't deny how sexy they were and it beat at her resolve, but she held on.
Dallas and Asher both snuck glances at Lily as she cheered on their kids on the monkey bars. She was just as gorgeous as ever. Her hair was shorter, but it suited her. She was sexy and still as smart as ever. "So, what have you been up to?" Asher asked before admonishing himself for being so dumb.
"Smooth." Lily joked before chuckling. They both smiled at the sound. "Madere said she needed me so here I am. Before that I was working at a law firm and going to school, both fulltime. My dad was an amazing help with the kids, which was a blessing. Life in Denver was okay."
"So, now that you're here what are you going to do? Another law firm?" Lily shook her head and smiled at Kinsley as she waved at them. "No, I'm currently looking for a finance job. I want to use my degree." Asher and Dallas traded looks. "Don't even think about it. I'm not working for you." Dallas sighed. "It wouldn't be for us. It'd be for Mr. Reynolds and you know it was your idea for us to all work there in the first place. It was your plan."
She looked at him with eyes so filled with sadness it stilled him. "I had a lot of plans, Dallas. Look at the good they did me." She turned around when she heard Kinsley crying. "Baby!" Lily ran over to her and saw Austin in anaphylaxis. "Kinsley what did he eat?!" Lily screamed. "This Mama!" Lily saw the snack pack of peanuts and sighed. His breathing was impaired and he was swelling up. "Shit!" Dallas said knowing what was happening.
Lily gave Austin the needed shot to alleviate the effects of his allergic reaction. "We need to go to the hospital." Lily said frantically carrying Austin. "I'll drive. Asher you take Kinsley in her car." Dallas instructed as they made their way. "Daddy, is Austin going to get in trouble?" Kinsley asked as they rode to the hospital. "Why would he get in trouble?" The little girl looked downwards. "Talk to me, Kinsley Rose."
