Chapter 1
The alarm went at 6:30 a.m. Rebecca woke up, it was a very sunny morning. Rebecca, 19 years old, wore an Aeropostale shirt, some black pants, and some flats. She put her hair in a messy bun. She's light skinned, thick, and very smart. Rebecca headed downstairs to see that nobody was there. Frightened and scared, she walked very slowly to the kitchen door, and ran outside. As she stood in the yard, her phone buzzed it's a text from her boyfriend.
Bae
Good morning baby, sorry I couldn't make it to your party, my mom was sick.
It's okay baby, I understand, see you at school.
Mark and Rebecca have been dating for 3 years, and it's been perfect, but every time she planned something for the both of them, he told her he can't make it, or either one of his relatives is sick, but it's okay she always forgave him, and their relationship continued.
Rebecca called her best friend, ShaNeika and they had a deep conversation about what Mark texted her. When she hangs up the phone, she waits at the bus stop for the bus to come.
When I get off the bus Rebecca see Mark talking to ShaNeika. Confused and worried, Rebecca looks at them, and run towards them.
"Hey Bae" Mark said, looking at Rebecca.
"Hey dude" Rebecca said not looking at him.
"Ay y'all, I'll talk to y'all later, I'm going to catch up with my friends" He says running off. Rebecca starts to look sad.
"Becca baby?" ShaNeika says smiling.
"Neika baby?" She smiles.
ShaNeika and Rebecca have been best friends since kindergarten and been there for each other. "Are you coming to the fair tonight? Everybody going to be there!" Rebecca said, "Yes girl I got to keep an eye on Mark." Before ShaNekia could say anything, the bell rings to go to 1st period. They had one minute left to get to class. Frustrated and rushed, they took off running until they got into class.
