Rebecca dropped Marks phone and started crying. Shikel looked back at her and saw she had Mark phone. He hurried up and looked back at the road and kept driving. ShaNeika stopped talking on the phone and her mouth was wide open in shock. Mark woke up, turned around and saw Rebecca with his phone. He snatched it out her hand and said,” The truth hurts doesn’t it? That’s why I don’t be with you.” and turned back around.
When they arrived at ShaNeika house. Rebecca hurried out the car, into the house, and lay on the couch crying. ShaNeika sat beside Rebecca and was patting her on the back, was saying sorry, that it was a mistake and she was getting an abortion tomorrow.
“Don’t touch me trick how could you? You were supposed to be my best friend, but you aren’t a friend of mine, I’m done messing with you, and Mark, we have been together for 3 years YEARS and you do this to me, all the times I believed you!!! Man forgets this!”
“WAIT! Hold up, I get that you're mad and stuff, but you just going have to deal with the fact that I'm having Mark’s baby.”
“No ShaNeika you already paid and told the doctor that you was gone have an abortion!”
Everybody looked at Mark, then at ShaNeika, and then at Rebecca. Rebecca went upstairs, into the guest room, sat on the bed, and start texting on her phone. She thought to herself for a minute about the situation. 10 minutes later she walked downstairs and sat next to Mark.
“Okay, I’ll stay with you Mark, but you gone have to change. ShaNeika we can be friends, but we can’t be close like we use to. I’m not going like that anymore what you did wasn't right, it wasn't right at all. The inside of me is telling me to forget this, forget everything and move on, but my heart is telling me to forgive each and every one of you, so that’s what I’m doing.”
“I agree Becca, I would've felt the same way, but I'm getting an abortion tomorrow anyway, it was a huge mistake and I'm very sorry girl. You have been there for me when I needed you the most, you always had my side when I always got in trouble, and other things. I don’t know why I did this to you I hate myself for doing it this is a regret that I'll never forget” Shaneika said as tears were coming down her eyes.
“No Bec I can't do this anymore!!!! Look, I love you with all my heart, but I can't be with you anymore. Like C’mon now, the whole time we have been dating I was cheating. I don’t see how you still put up with me, but I don't want to keep hurting you. I’m sorry.” Mark gets up and leave the house, leaving Shaneika in shock, but Rebecca in tears.
The next day Rebecca woke up to 124 missed calls and 74 text messages and they were all from her mama. She was still kinda mad that the fact that her mama, well adoptive mama, kept this secret from her for years. Anyways, she decided to call her mama.
“You have reached the voicemail box of 870-765-9876, after the beep, please leave your message, BEEP!”
“Umm Ma this Becca, I just wanted to talk about everything that happened last night just call me back when you can.”
After that, she hung up and went downstairs. When she made it downstairs she went to the kitchen to get some chips. As she was leaving the kitchen, something caught her eye. It was Mark and Shaneika. They were sitting by each other, laughing, hugging, eating, and kissing. Rebecca was highly mad. She walked in the living room and stood in front of them wanting an explanation. Mark looked at her laughing and shaking his head, on the other hand, Shaneika got up and left the living room. Before she could leave Rebecca says one thing that makes Shaneika mad.
