Chapter 11 : An Unexpected Encounter

It has been so peaceful after addition of Hinata as the Guardian of Humanity. The vampires living in the shadows were able to get enough blood from Humans without killing them. Ruberios has gotten more prosperous with time as everyone is treated fairly equal. Barter system was implemented, even the people without enough money could exchange their goods for services.

Just like always Luminous was relaxing in her throne room after the Walpurgis which was commenced to discuss the new name for the Ten Demon Lords but accepted the name "Ten Great Demon Lords" given by humans.
Twin Valentines got busy with their management work, while Hinata was busy patrolling around the streets until she found a suspicious man wearing a cloak having black scleras. She never saw him before, but he gave some real bad feeling to her.

Hinata (to herself) : What's this bad feeling I'm getting... This man looks nothing more than a human but it's something strange about him that makes me feel uneasy.. What if he's a spy or maybe an assasin?!

Hinata decides to trail the man to find his real motives, but to her surprise she ends up loosing him after a few hours of chase. She looks around to find herself in an alley away from the main populated areas as it was dark due to night time.

"Kufufufu... "

She hears someone laugh and gets alerted holding her rapier.

?? : It's really rude to trail people busy doing their own jobs.

A barrier gets raised around her which completely cuts her off from the outside world. It starts to concern her a bit but she tries to analyse her situation with calm.
A few moments later, she hears somebody's foot steps as a figure having black hairs with red & yellow streaks, wearing a finely dress with a red handkerchief at his neck, like that of a prince appears from dark.

Hinata : Who are you? (she asks coldy)

?? : Kufufufu... Please call me Kuro, it's something my acquaintance call me.
I can see you're quite strong for a mere human, an Enlightened one I guess.. Are you the so called Hinata Sakaguchi? (he asks with a smile)

Hinata : Yes I'm! So what of it?

Kuro : Oh-ya! It saves my time..

Hinata : A demon huh? I guess you are no ordinary one.. (she says analysing him)

Kuro : Kufufufu..To think you could tell just by looking at me. I was really trying my best to conceal myself though. (he says in a curious tone)

Hinata : Surely you jest! It's not the level to fool me! (she says pointing her saber towards him)

Kuro : You're quite interesting one! I guess I'll play with you a little..
(he says narrowing his eyes)

Hinata : Guess I've no choice then!
