Chapter 3 : True Hero and Ruberios

𝗖𝗵𝗹𝗼𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘃 /

Years have passed since I left on the journey to grow stronger. I'm excited to meet Luminous again. It's been a while now since I last met her.

As I entered the Château, Louis with a few servants greeted me. I sought Luminous' presence and walked towards her room.

Luminous : Ara, seems like my little Chloe has returned!
Rimuru will you bring her to me please..

Rimuru : Hai.
.........

While Rimuru opens the door, Chloe continues to stare as the door reveals a beautiful bluish-haired maid with pure gold eyes, which she continues to look at with large eyes. But so is Rimuru when she stares at the girl in front of her with eyes of curiosity.

(after a little staring contest)

Rimuru : Welcome lady Chloe. Luminous is waiting for you (she greets with a warm smile).

Chloe : Y-yes! (she answers with red cheeks)

Luminous : Welcome back Chloe-chan ~I missed you!
(gives her a hug)

Chloe : I missed you too Luminous. And who is that lady? A new maid? (she whispers)

Luminous : Ah! She's my new maid, Rimuru. But more of a friend than a servant. She's quite strong you know... fufufu!

Chloe : It's nice to meet you Rimuru-san I m Chloe.

Rimuru : Yes it's nice meeting you too lady Chloe.

Chloe : Chloe is fine.

Rimuru : So I'll get you something to drink, please excuse me.

After Rimuru exits the room...

Chloe : Just who is she Luminous?
I can't sense anything from her, is she a human?

Luminous : Tch tch tch Chloe! She's a demon.

Chloe : What? But she's just too beautiful for a demon don't you think? And to be able to conceal her presence just to nothing sounds absurd!! Just what is she?

Luminous : Ara~ I had the same reaction when I first accidentally summoned her. But that being is just way out of my imagination. She said she was the mother of all the primordials. When I summoned her I thought that might be the end for me, but luckily she's so different from those other ruthless demons. Her ideals, and way of seeking pleasure (blush) is just wonderful~fufufu...

Chloe : It's so hard to believe, but I know you won't lie to me. When I first saw her it felt like her eyes were piercing right through my soul. If you said what she is, then it won't be surprising if she knows Hinata's soul within me...

Hinata (to Chloe) : Yeah I thought the same thing, so let's ask her in person sometime. If she is really that strong maybe we should ask her for a spar , that will help us against Veldora.

Chloe (to Hinata) : Y-Yes, let's do that .. haha.. ha...
(with a sweatdrop she laughs awkwardly)

[meanwhile]

Rimuru : Hey Ciel, tell me about Chloe.

<< According to the analysis, individual named Chloe Aubert is a True Hero and is strong enough to rival a True dragon. She carries another soul of an Individual named Hinata Sakaguchi and is thought to be a Time leaper (unique skill : time travel) >>

Rimuru : Hmm.. Seems interesting! I sensed a spiritual body filled with negative emotions, how would you explain that?

<< Affirmative. It is supposed, through numerous time loops that Individual Chloe had executed, the uncountable failures and losses she faced accumulated as negative emotions inside her creating an alternate ego, which resulted in the birth of a Manas. >>

Rimuru : No doubt she's strong. So according to the failures you are stating she must be desperate to save someone from the future right? It maybe Hinata..

<< That is supposed to be the case >>

Rimuru : Well, let's see what awaits for us. But you seemed to be too much interested than me... fufufu~

<< I-It's just your imagination (hmpf) >>

Rimuru : (giggles)

Over time, the hero and Rimuru face each other and discuss the issues at length.

Chloe and even Hinata within her is stunned that Rimuru knows too much about them. Seeing it as a perfect opportunity, battle maniac Hinata tells Chloe that she must not miss the opportunity and challenge Rimuru for a duel that she actually accepts with joy.

Hinata takes over to fight Rimuru and instantly gets ready for the battle with her stance while her opponent stands casually infront of her with a wooden sword in her hand.

Hinata keeps attacking with her saber, but finds it really difficult to land a hit.
She immediately gets desperate to the point and starts attacking recklessly but gets utterly defeated by a single fient move.
She sits on the floor with a disappointed look but Rimuru gently pats her head and smiles warmly making Hinata/Chloe blush a little.

Watching them, both Ciel and Luminous clicks their tongue in jealousy which makes Rimuru chuckle...

A few years later Veldora arrives rampaging just as Chloe told them.
Rimuru watches Veldora with a concerned look but does not interfere in the fight. She just protects Luminous and others while Chloe and Hinata seals the evil dragon with Unlimited Prison.

After the whole ordeal, Chloe sets on her journey once again to rescue her  future teacher, Shizue Izawa.

Several years passed by, with end of the Great Temna War and rise of the Holy Empire of Ruberios, Chloe returned and left with a final goodbye to them. Her consciousness faded away as her body was sealed by Luminous in the Holy Ark of an inner sanctum.

The Rise of Holy Empire

After the fall of Nightrose, the Great Tenma War broke out. Eventually, during the Tenma Great War-
(an event where an army of Angels would descend from Heaven and reign destruction upon the world, to limit human society from advancing too far)
Luminous took full advantage of the ensuing chaos to establish her own faith, propping herself up as a goddess. Thanks to the immense power she possessed as a True Demon Lord, she was easily able to attract followers after killing those annoying angels like a Goddess. The new religion was quickly taken up by the human survivors who flocked to her, eventually planting the roots that would begin it's transformation into an Empire.

The nation Holy Empire of Ruberios is led by Pope Emperor Louis Valentin, who, secretly is a Vampire and subordinate of Demon Lord Luminous Valentine-the "God" of Luminism, and the true ruler of Ruberios. Roy Valentin, the twin brother of Louis, plays the role of the "evil Demon Lord" to unite Ruberios against a supposed ever-present threat.

Between the events where Rimuru assisted Luminous behind the scenes, she made sure that her identity would always be a secret to outside world except the few selected figures, (Luminous, her butler Gunther and valentine twins).

With the establishment of Western Holy Church and Holy knight order with Ruberios as their headquarters, Luminism began to spread even more in all of the Western countries.
