Trigger Warning: Suicide
Danny's P.O.V
I opened the door to Mimi's bedroom. She told me not to go in there, but I had a nightmare and I was scared.
I walked inside and I couldn't find her. I was confused. I didn't hear the door open so she must've been in her room.
I walked to her unmade bed. I never thought she was so messy. Her clothes and stuff were everywhere. I was going to tell her how much she was a hypocrite, because my room has to always be cleaned.
"Mimi?" I called, but I didn't hear an answer. The room felt weird. I was worried something really bad happened to her.
As I was turning to leave, I saw something that made me freeze. My heart stopped beating as I walked closer. I saw her arm, sticking out. She was on the floor. Maybe she fell.
I walked closer. "Mimi, are you okay?" I asked quietly. Then I felt my heart plummet to the bottom of my shoes. She was blue. This wasn't Mimi. This was some sort of alien. I screamed. I screamed so loud.
There she was, the greatest person I have ever known. On the ground, blue and not alive. Very much not alive. I threw up, a lot. She wasn't alive. I got on my knees, either willingly or they gave out; I don't know which.
"Mimi!" I yelled, shaking her cold, dead body. I panicked. I started hyperventilating. I was crying hysterically. I looked for her phone. I needed to call the police.
I searched her pockets, barely being able to see anything from the tears blurring my eyes. There was a ringing in my ears. I didn't believe any of this was happening. I grabbed something. A piece of paper. I opened it, and read her annoying, intolerable nickname for me and sobbed.
"Mimi!" I yelled, as if I were in pain. But I really was in pain. I couldn't breathe from the pain in my chest. "Why did you leave me?! No, no, you can't leave me! Mimi! Wake up! Wake up!" I cried, coughing and sobbing. I was a mess and I was in pain. I knew I needed to call 911 but I couldn't. I couldn't move. I couldn't think.
"Mimi!" I yelled again, feeling my vision start to fade. I couldn't hear my yells anymore but I was sure that I was screaming because I could feel the vibration of my vocal cords, I could feel the soreness of my throat from screaming so loudly.
I was going to die. I knew it as a fact. This was how I would die. And I didn't care. I wanted to die. Because then I'd be with Mimi again.

I inhaled deeply and sat up. I felt nauseous and I ran to the bathroom to throw up. I felt myself start to cry. Almost as badly as I cried when I found her corpse. I tried to be quiet, though, because I didn't want to wake anyone up.
I wanted the aching in my chest to stop. I couldn't keep going on like this anymore. I was sobbing hysterically and I couldn't stop. I tried so hard but it made it worse. I heard a knock on my door. Fuck.
"J-just a min-minute." I called, trying to wipe my tears away. "Danny? Shit, are you okay?" Freddie asked. "Y-yeah." I said, then placed my hands over my mouth to stifle a sob, which I failed. "What happened? Danny, can I please come in?" Freddie asked, sounding worried.
When I didn't answer, Freddie said, "I'm coming in now, okay?" I heard the door open and then close. Then footsteps approached the bathroom. Freddie looked down at my hysterical state and his face softened. "Oh, Danny." He said softly. He bent down and pulled me into a hug. I didn't protest. I cried into his chest like a bawling baby. I couldn't hold it in anymore. That nightmare was so real, I could feel everything 12 year old me was feeling. I pulled out from Freddie's hug and sniffed, trying to calm myself. Freddie sat down next to me on the floor.
