(We cut to a random forest in Earthrealm. Scorpion and Mileena are sitting around a fire like they had done this first time they met. Mileena is eating a roasted animal and Scorpion just sits)
Scorpion: You were sent after me. Why?
(She looks up at him then back down at the animal)
Mileena: ....I don't know the plan.
Scorpion: But you know some?
(Shes quiet for a few moments)
Mileena: They said your purpose was complete. You would have become a liability.
(Scorpion lets out an acknowledging hum)
Mileena: I only took the assignment because-
Scorpion: It is forgiven.
(Mileena moves her hair in front of her face as she continues to eat.
They stay silent before the air is broken by scorpion)
Scorpion: You don't have to stay here on Earthrealm.
Mileena: I know..
