Seven lives intertwined,
Seven journeys collided,
One sanctuary to call home; Faith.
"Oh faith, where were you... One more minute without your update and i would have razed the city to the ground!"

"I am back!" Faith's mom announced as she entered the appartment.
"Hello mom!" She said before turning back to the TV screen.
"What are you watching?" Isabella (her mom) asked moving towards the kitchen.
"Riverdale, season one!" She answered still not taking her eyes off the screen.
Her mom chuckled, "The murder mystery?" "Yes mom, the murder mystery!"
With that her mother started preparing the dinner. "Did you boil this pasta just now Faith?" She asked examining the pasta in the Bowl.
"Yes. Just 5 minutes ago!" She replied. Her mom let out a hmm before she started preparing some sause with heavy cream.
"Up for some white sauce pasta tonight?" She asked the girl who did not reply anything but rose both of her hands and passed her mother an OK sign.
"So how was school today?" Isabella asked putting some toasted bread on both of their plates beside the runny pasta.
"It could have been better!"
"Why? What's got you so sulky?"
"It is just that Mr. Kwak made us stand for three hours and before that I had to climb 3 sets of stairs and just when I reached the bus stop, it started raining... Jesus! school today sucked!" He said putting a spoonful of pasta in her mouth
Her mother let out a chuckle listening to her daughter's awful experience at school,
"Its alright! Just don't forget... if the world never sucked, we'd all fall off!"
Faith laughed at that line, "You say that everytime Mom!"
"That's because it true" Isabella stated.
"And I end up laughing everytime!" She added.
"That's because it is equally funny" her mother stated once again.
"No... that's because you say it with a funny accent mom!"
"That's how everyone speaks English in the UK sweetie!" Her mom replied while munching on her toasted bread. Even after years of living in Korea, the fancy accent has never left her. Faith also has unconsciously picked up the British accent from her Grandmother who did not know Korean and would only speak in elegant English, she just hasn't realized it completely yet because she converses in Korean most of the day.
"How's your day so far?" Faith asked while reaching out for a glass of water.
"Nothing special" she replied.
The word special reminded her of her guest today.
"Oh my God! MOM!" She spoke loudly which startled her mother who choked on bread.
