"hold on.. i can't go like this... v-ven..gea..nce.. will...be...mine.." Eula muttered to herself. Blood was dripping down her sweaty forehead as her breathing was slowing down. She was not going to back down, especially when she has a title to prove to everyone. Her left leg was heavily injured, with one long, deadly cut down the middle. Eula's vision started getting blurry every second and blood was leaking down her chin now. The enemy was readying their sword, eager to end Eula's life. If only I could strike that weak spot in its armor.. it would be all over if i did.. i guess not..
Eula simply gave up. She closed her eyes. It was all darkness from here.
But after merely seconds, she felt nothing.
...Until a roar was heard from the enemy. An arrow was stuck in the open spot in its armor. The enemy collapsed, the heavy metal from its armor making a thunk on the ground.
"Outrider Amber to the rescue!- Eula! Are you awake? Eula! Please respond!" Amber exclaimed.
The outrider tried desperately to shake the Spindrift Knight to wake her up, but she lay emotionless on the cold ground.
"She's still breathing alright, but she won't wake up!!" Amber complains. Amber decided to get help, so she left the lifeless Eula on the ground. She ran, trying to find someone to help her bring Eula back to Monstadt and get her good and walking again. Amber crashed into Jean, who was tending the injured while watching for upcoming enemy attacks.
"Jean! E-Eula! She's-"
"Calm down Amber, small words." Jean responded.
"Eula.. she's not moving.." Amber said finally.
Jean, with a startle, followed Amber to where Eula was. Jean panicked for a second, then tended her wounds and brought her back to Monstadt where she was cared for by Amber at her house.
