Paul had woken up, y/n still sleeping beside him. He had a terrible dream about her dying in his arms, and his best friend Duncan dying as well. He quietly sobbed, making sure he didn't wake her. Still, she heard and woke up.
"Paul, what's wrong?" She said, hugging him.
"It was just a bad dream." He sniffed, not wanting to worry her.
"I'm so sorry if I woke you darling." He frowned, kissing her temple.

Later on Duncan Idaho, one of Paul's best friends came back.
"Duncan!" Y/n and Paul both shouted, running towards him.
"Kiddos!" He said as he embraced them both. He talked to them about aarakis. Y/n went to help Lady Jessica with something. Leaving Paul alone with Duncan.
"Hey could I trust you with something?" Paul asked Duncan.
"Yeah of course!" Duncan replied.
"I had another dream last night. I saw you, and you got killed in aarakis. But also, y/n died in my arms." Paul said, tears forming in his eyes.
"Aww bud, dont worry. Those are just bad dreams. Nothing is going to happen, I promise you that." Duncan said, putting his hands on Paul's shoulders.
Paul just took Duncan's words and tried not to worry.
"You seem to be growing some muscles Paul." Duncan joked.
"Really!?" Paul asked.
"No." Duncan chuckled.

Paul and y/n went back into their room. Paul watching something on their bed while y/n read while laying on his lap. Paul stopped his video and admired y/n. Y/n felt Paul watching her.

"Paul what happened! Paul look at me!" She said.

"Paul you can trust me with anything. I need you to tell me! I won't tell anyone." She replied, kissing his cheek.
"I've been having these dreams. And I hate seeing you die in my arms every time! I don't want to loose you. I see your face every time, scared, sad, and you are never happy. My dreams are killing me! I don't want to loose you! And it kills me knowing that every time it's my fault that you die." He broke out sobbing.
"Paul no. You're not going to loose me, I'm right here! It will never be your fault. I love you so much, I'm always going to be here for you. You know that!" She said, comforting him with kisses and hugs.
She wiped the tears from his face.
"I love you Paul." She whispered.
"I love you too y/n." He said.
