"It's Too Risky"

Paul and I have always dreamed about having kids but the risk it would have was extreme.

"I just wish we could get pregnant." Paul said, my face in his naked chest.

"I know, but it's too risky. I don't want to put you in danger Paul." I said, running my fingers through his hair.

I was a bit lower in social class than Paul, his father would never approve of us getting pregnant. But his mother would.  She knew that we loved each other. She would get me nice things, and treat me like her daughter. Because she had Paul, everyone disowned her. I felt so bad for her. She was told to have birthed a girl. But we all know that women can't control what they have.

"My mom is the only one who would understand. That's the hardest thing. My father would disapprove, but I don't care." Paul said.

"We could try and talk to her tomorrow." I suggested.

"Okay.." he mumbled.

He kissed my forehead and we fell asleep in each other's arms.

(Author's POV)
Paul's Dream
The sand blew, revealing Y/n's bottom half of her body.

"Y/n?"

He came closer to her. The image becoming clearer. His heart dropped as he saw a man holding a knife beside Y/n's neck.

"How could you do this to her Paul?" The man asked.

"I don't understand?" Paul said confused.

"You broke the rules, you got her pregnant Paul. Why are you acting like you didn't know?" The man grunted.

He looked at Y/n's face. Tears streaming down her eyes. She was shaking.

"Let her go!" He yelled, taking a pause after every word.

"Make me." The man said.

Paul went towards him.

"Paul stop." Y/n cried as she saw Paul pull out a knife from his pocket.

He came in closer contact to the man.

"Let, her, go." He said, using the voice.

The man then let her go. Paul stabbed him once he got far from Y/n.

Paul ran to Y/n, hugging her body.

"Paul, don't move." Y/n whispered into his ear. She saw someone coming behind him, a girl. She had bright blue eyes, wearing yellow, and her hands bloody while holding a crysknife.
(Sorry if I spelt that wrong)
It was already to late. The girl had already got close enough to stab Paul.

Everything got hazy and he blacked out.

(Y/n's POV)

Paul woke up, gasping for air.

"Paul, calm down. What happened?!" I asked, my cold hands on his chest, trying to calm him down.

"We can't. We need to get out of here quickly!" Paul said frantically.

"Maybe we should talk to your mom about this Paul." I suggested.

"I'll get her, stay here Paul." I said, cupping his face and kissing him on the cheek.

I walked down to Lady Jessica's room.

"Lady Jessica? Paul needs you." I said, waking her up.

We walked back to Paul and I's room.

"Paul, what happened?" She asked.

"Mother, I had a terrible dream. I- I just want to leave." He sobbed.

"Paul what happened in your dream?" She asked.

"I was in the sand dunes and I saw a man holding a knife to Y/n's neck. He told me that I- I had gotten her pregnant and I broke the rules. I had stabbed him, b- but someone stabbed me back and everything just went black after that." He started sobbing again.

"I'm sure we can find a way for you two to get out of here safely Paul. I'll support you through it the whole way. Don't worry about your Father. I'll make sure of it that he never finds out Paul." She said, hugging him.

She told me and Paul to pack.

"Are you sure this is the right thing to do?" I asked Lady Jessica.

"Yes, I want you two to live life without fear. I love you both so much." She said, kissing my cheek.

She got us to a place safely.

"I'll make sure your father will know nothing of this. I wish you both the best." She said before leaving us.

Paul and I had a better life than we could ever ask for. No one telling us what to do, or how to dress. We just knew we were happy as we could ever be.
