Vi's pov act 1 spam

I walked into the main room to wake up Sunny for our job. But as I was making my way up the ladder I heard heavy breathing. Oh no, sunny! I pulled the curtain open to see her freaking out but still asleep. I started shaking, attempting to wake her up, hoping it would get her out of this state. It's not working. Just as I was about to go get vander, I saw her eyes twitch, so I shook her harder.

"Wake up, Sunny!" I almost yelled, scared out of my mind. Her nightmares have never been this bad. She finally opened her eyes and I sighed with relief.

"W-what?" She asked, still slightly out of it. 

"Are you okay?" I asked, concern evident in my eyes. I know you don't like being fussed over but you don't have a choice right now. 

"I'm fine." She whispered. No, you're not. 

"You were hyperventilating when I came in!" I raised my voice at her. Stop being so stubborn. I could see the anger in her face but chose to ignore it.

"I said I'm fine, now leave it alone." She said, using her dangerous voice. Shut up and let me help you already. I tightened my grip and pulled her closer. 

“You’re not allowed to hurt while I’m here, got it?” I looked her dead in the eyes, showing her I’m not backing down.

“I’m…sorry.” She avoided my gaze as she spoke. She always acted like this after her anger got the best of her. Even when it wasn’t at its worst. I felt my own anger leave as she looked back up at me. Our noses touched as her face reddened. Haha, adorable. My eyes trailed over her features. Ugh, I want to kiss her so bad right now. My eyes drifted closed as I drifted closer. I felt her hands on my hips. 

“VI! SUNNY! HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO WAKE A GIRL-” I opened my eyes to Mylo stopped dead in his tracks after swinging the door open and barging in. His wide eyes staring at our less than ladylike position. 

“Ugh.” I grunted. Why did we have to be interrupted? 

“Hey, let them be a min-” He stopped as he noticed too, then continued with a different thought, “Are we interrupting something?” 

I moved off her legs and started down the ladder. “Yes, you are.”

I walked over to my chair and laid across it as Sunny walked over to Mylo closing his dropped jaw, just for it to fall again. Man’s always the comedic relief. Sunny let out a small laugh. 
“Well, we can leave if needed.” Claggor said while walking backwards, slowly making his way out of the room.

“Don’t bother, moments ruined now.” Sunny said as she made her way over to me, pushing my legs off the arm of the chair to sit there herself. Rude. I fixed myself to sit properly in the chair. 

“Well, now that Sunny’s awake, and not using the curtain so kindly provided for her-” The two of us chuckled and this. He obviously doesn’t like the idea of me and his sister. Too bad, I do.  “-are we going to get going now? Can’t lose daylight.” Sunny’s confused expression made Mylo fume. He looked at me, seething.

“You didn’t tell her?” 

“I had more important things to do.” I spoke while barely even looking over at the rest of them. I didn’t even get one kiss today. 

“How is shoving your tongue down Sunny’s throat more important than a job?!” Mylo yelled. My face flushed at the thought of my tongue down her throat. 

“I was not!” I turned to him, surprise evident in my eyes. The audacity of this kid. 

”We didn’t get that far, if you recall, we were rudely interrupted.” Sunny added, her smile laced with annoyance.

Mylo shut up at this, wanting to speak but not knowing what to say. Satisfied with the outcome, she turned to me, and my severely blushing face. Nice to know she is mad too.

“Anyway-” She said, changing the subject to a more interesting plot line. “-what job?”

I jumped up so fast, excited to share the news.

“Right!” I smiled down at her. “We’re going on a job, sunshine, a real job.”

Her eyes lit up and a smile quickly spread across her lips. “A real job?”

This is the look I would kill for.

Mylo, Claggor, Sunny, and I were all in the main room as powder ran off somewhere. Sunny was with Mylo, taking out the junk he kept throwing in the bag. I, however, was checking out the writing on the wall. An inventor, by the looks of it. 

I heard rattling coming from the door and realised. We were about to get caught. 

“Sunny, Mylo.” I whispered. They both nodded, and, as Mylo grabbed a chair and shoved it up against the door, Sunny ran into the other room and swept up Powder. They all ran and made it to the balcony while I was still tying up the bag. 

Then it happened. The other side of the balcony caved in as the side of the building exploded. Everything happened so fast. I ran to the others and we jumped off the balcony, immediately being chased by enforcers. We ran, taking twists and turns, I broke a pipe letting steam cover our escape. To get back into the undercity Sunny pulled open a sewer grate and Mylo just stared at her. 

“I just got this shir-AAAA” I kicked him down the shaft and shot her a wink before quickly following. After she’d jumped down, Sunny waded through the trash to stand next me. I welcomed her presence with a smile. 

“I thought last time was the last we’re going to do this.” Mylo complained.

“Well, this time’s the last time.” I responded, done with his shit.

“Guys, what was that?” Claggor spoke, grabbing everyone’s attention. “What the hell happened back there?” All eyes turned their way to Powder.

“I don’t know, I didn’t do anything.” She said defensively.

“You could fill a library with all the things you didn’t do.” Mylo retorted. I shot him a glare. 

“No one’s saying you did.” Sunny reasoned.

“Uh, I am! She definitely did!” Mylo spoke up, raising his hand. She turned her head half way and shot him a look. 

“But, maybe you saw something. The explosion came from the room you were in, you didn’t notice anything?” She questioned, returning her attention to my sister.

Powder shook her head. 

“Alright then.” She said as she stroked Powder’s back in a comforting manner. She treats her like her own sister.

We all started walking back to Vander’s place. I walked alone, bag in hand, leading the group.

Until, Sunny ran up to my side and joined me.
