Preeta and Karan were known as the best of best friend. Everybody knew- even their families- how important they were to each other.
But what had happened that they got separated? What had happened between...
"Babydoll are you ready?" Karan asked, entering the room.
He stopped right in his track looking at the angel standing infront of the mirror. Preeta was putting on her necklace.
"Karan, can you tie it for me?" Preeta asked, oblivious to the fact that Karan was staring at her.
Not hearing his voice, Preeta turned around to see him standing at the door, his mouth agape and eyes not even blinking. Preeta sighed and walked towards him and shook him slightly. Karan came back to his sense.
"Wow I- Uh, my god, you look so damn beautiful. Like uh-umm what did you ask me?" Karan stuttered.
Preeta giggled at his amazed face. She gave him her necklace and turned round, pushing her hair on her shoulder. Karan tie the necklace and put a small kiss on her nape. Preeta shivered feeling his soft lips. Karan turned her towards him and brushed her hair behind her ear.
"Ready to go Mrs Luthra?" he asked. Preeta just smiled and held his hand.
The media turned their attention to the star couple of the night who have started descending the stairs. They looked as a power couple with a powerful aura around them.

The flashes of camera were making Preeta nervous but Karan presence and him squeezing her hand were comforting to her. Arriving downstairs, they posed more for the media and Karan started talking to them, with Preeta by his side. They were then joined by their family.
"Ananya-di, where is Veer?" Preeta asked.
"Don't worry, he is with Arhaan. They might be playing outside." Ananya replied.
Rakhi excused them and asked her daughters-in-law to come and meet some distant relatives. Shrishti rolled her eyes when she saw whom they were meeting. Preeta raised her eyebrows at her.
"This aunty-daughter duo are the worst. The woman was forcing Rakhi-ma to marry Karan with her daughter which obviously Rakhi-ma refused but still they didn't give up. Now they might hate you for stealing Karan." Shrishti explained.
"Don't worry, I know how to deal with people like them." Preeta said slowly as they joined the group of women.
Ananya, Preeta and Shrishti greeted them. Everyone congratulated Rakhi for her new daughter-in-law and praised Preeta for her beauty. They also congratulate Ananya for the birth of her daughter. Everyone was talking when Veer came there.
"Dadii, dadu is calling you too, he said he can't find his files."
"Ouf tumare dadu can't do anything without me and why is he even working today? Let's go." Rakhi told him, shaking her head.
"Ohh mumma, papa is searching you. He wants you to meet some other players. I met them, they are cool!" Veer said before going with Rakhi.
"Mumma? He is your son?" One of the guest asked Preeta.
