As I have said before that this story deviates from canon although some of the events would be present.
And the timeline might be a bit confusing as it doesn't quite match for the events that have occured.
The Mikaelsons here are based on after the hollow. Hope and Hayley have happened but Hayley was never in a relationship with Elijah and obviously Finn is still alive. Kolvina didnt happen but they are good friends. Henrik was brought back to life. The Hollow has been divided into the 5 Mikaelson brothers.
While for the Mystic falls gang Stefan is not dead and Damon and Elena have broken up. The Salvatore brothers are still vampires. Enzo hasn't been freed yet , Jenna is alive and Alaric is very much single because Jo and him didnt happen. Kai has been freed from the Prison world and has not killed Jo. Lizzie and Josie never happened.
As I said, its confusing.
Even though this is a soulmate fic I am trying to make the romance realistic and gradual. Pretty much slowburn with lots of pining and maybe a lil fake hate. And of fluff and humour with bit of comfort because we do not ignore hundred and thousands of years of trauma just like that.
Also there would also be ocs who would also be soulmates and I have decide to include some more soulmates along with the Mikaelsons.
The main focus of this book is romance since I generally suck at it. The entire book is all about getting together and their relationship dynamics. Just because this is a soulmate fanfic doesn't mean they would instantly fall in love , marry and the next moment they have 10 kids . This book will also focus on their traumas and honestly we can't really expect so many people to be okay with a poly relationship instantly. This book will also depict that how they adjust with each other, not all of them will get along instantly such as finn and his other brothers except henrik, then there's katherine and caroline with mikaelsons, some of my ocs will also not get along instantly as they would have different morals and values.
You can't expect murderers and a cop will get along instantly and i will not forget kat's trauma which she faced due to klaus, a lot of them have done some pretty messed up things which I won't forego just because they are are soul mates. But there will be redemption. There will be no rejection or a third person in their relationship but it would take time to grow since a whole lot of them are not aware of the bond. Yes they will feel a bond and connection some of them will love her sooner than others but getting together or official dating would be gradual. I will make it romantic as possible. Expect a lot of feels.
Some of them have severe trauma but trauma doesn't give an excuse to be a shitty person so don't expect my fem oc to be okay with it all instantly. This book might be lengthy but I am trying to make it all worth you time and effort to read this.
