"mommy, when is daddy coming?" Ryujin's 6-year-old daughter asked out, watching her big brown pleading eyes, while ryujin was washing the dishes.

"He will arrive soon, you know that daddy tends to be unpunctual.." she replied gently while showing leeseo a warm smile. Internally rolling her eyes for her unreliable ex-husband.

"but mommy, you keep saying that for an hour and still he hasn't arrived.." leeseo answered as ryu noticed her daughter's teary eyes, she was clearly missing her father.

"awe baby, don't cry, i will calm him and ask him what's taking him so long okay?" Ryujin crunched down, giving her daughter a brief but warm hug as she agreed by nodding her small head.

IN THE LIVING ROOM

Ryujin then reached out for her phone, waiting over to the living room so leeseo wouldn't eavesdrop too much from her conversation with beomgyu while waiting for him to answer the call.

"Hey ryu! I'm sorry for being late something came up and I had to finish that-" he rushed out as soon as he answered the call, knowing her reasoning for calling him.

"Yeah sure, something came up again, as always. Your daughter is eagerly waiting for you and cried because she is missing her father and you're here prioritising something else over her again?@ she spoke out harshly, hearing a deep exhale from the other side of the speaker.

"I'm really sorry, ryujin, I'm almost there, I promise you" and with that he hung up again as she shook her head, clearly upset at the lame and pathetic excuse of her ex-husband.

"Is daddy coming?" The soft voice of her daughter brought her back to reality as she was standing in the door frame, watching ryujin with her big doe-eyes, which she obviously inherited from her father.

Ryujin walked over to her, caressing over her head.

"He's almost there any" and just as she had spoken that out, the doorbell was ringing, causing her daughter's face to light up in excitement as she instantly ran towards the front door, opening it for her father.

"Daddy!" She yelled out, jumping on her father's warm embrace as he hugged her back really tightly.

"Hey princess, I'm finally here" he stared out as his eyes switched up to ryujin's, watching her with an apologetic look while she just rolled her eyes.

"Well took you long enough.." she muttered out softly yet loud enough for beomgyu to hear it.

"Ryujin, I told you I'm sorry okay!" He backed away from his daughter, her attitude clearly pissing hun off as she scoffed out.

"Saying sorry can't fix everything, beomgyu, when are you going to learn that-"

"Please stop fighting.." Ryujin was cut off by her daughter's trembling voice as she was clearly fighting back her tears, not liking to see her parents arguing at all.
