Chapter 2 - A letter for a goodbye

Lucy's P.O.V

"Lucy.... I need to speak to you." I just look at him completely confused. I have no clue what is going on.

"We are speaking." I manage to say because I know this conversation isn't going to end well.

"Master wants..." He stopped speaking as if the words were caught in his throat. He looks over at happy who was already crying but Happy nodded. That's when I realized he said Master not Gramps, something was wrong, very wrong.

"Natsu.. why did you say Master? What does he want? Why is Happy crying? What the hell is going on?" Questions kept flowing out of my mouth as tears were flowing out of my eyes.

"Master wants you to leave the guild for good." I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

"Why..." I stumbled over my words and backwards.

"I'm sorry.." He said as him and Happy ran off.

I propped my self against a wall so I wouldn't fall, although I couldn't stop crying. I glance down at my hand with my fairy Tail symbol on it and wonder what was going to happen. Whatever is going to happen, it means I should be far away from this town. With that, I ran back to my home.

'I still can't believe this is happening. I don't even know what I did wrong. I wish I could go to the guild to find out but that would be a horrible idea. I'm afraid of what might happen if I did.' I thought.

When I went back inside my apartment, I went to my dresser and found a pair of finger-less white gloves and slipped them on. After I started to write a letter to the guild.

"Open gate of the maiden, Virgo." I said as a maid with pink hair pops out.

"Yes princess?" Virgo says.

"Can you please pack up all of my stuff and put in the spirit world? I have to leave this place." That's all I said before I left my apartment. I clearly had good times because as I left, my landlady was walking by.

"Miss landlady!" I shouted.

"Yes?" She gave me this stone cold look like she just doesn't care.

"I'm leaving... I'm not sure when I'll be back or if I ever will be back but I already cleared everything out." I said as I handed her the last of my rent.

"You're leaving?" She kind of sounded upset but that couldn't happen, could it?

"Yes, there isn't anything left for me here so I have to leave." I said as a tear escaped my eyes. "By the way, I left you a gift on my, I mean the bed. and if you don't mind giving this to Fairy Tail." I handed her a letter and ran to the train station.

"One ticket to I don't even care where, just somewhere as far away from here as possible." I said quickly. Short after, they handed me ticket to someplace I've never even heard of. It was located on the edge of fiore; Claude. 'I wonder what type of place this will be?' I thought as I boarded the train.

Mira's P.O.V

I've stayed by Wendy's side all night making sure she will be okay and thankfully she will be thanks to poluchka. Although I can't believe what Carla said. Lucy would never hurt Wendy or anyone in the guild. She wouldn't even care if she lost her life because she wouldn't hurt a guild member. She was too nice. As I left the infirmary, I saw that team natsu didn't go on their job. I understand why, Lucy was important to their team and to the guild. Now she is gone. Why didn't Master at least listen to what she had to say about what happened before forcing her out of the guild. It isn't making any sense. As I was thinking, I saw a small woman with purple hair walk in with a letter in her hand.

"Good morning Ma'am, what can I do for you?" I asked as I gave her a warm smile.

"Morning to you too, young lady. I have a letter for this guild." I took the letter as she started to walk away.

"Thank you." I waved goodbye to her. I glanced down to the letter and realized it was from Lucy. I wanted to read it but it would be better if Master read it to the guild. So I head up to his office.

*Knock Knock*

Master's P.O.V

While working on piles upon piles of paper work, I hear a knock on my door.

"Come in." I said as the beautiful Mira-Jane walks into my office with a letter in her hand. It looks as if she is about to cry as she hands me the letter.

"It's from Lucy." She said as she left my office. I stated to over look the letter.

'Please read to the guild.' It said at the very top of the letter. It took me a while to decide if I truly should read it to the guild or not. Then I realized I have to. If I don't, Mira will start realizing something is going on if she hasn't already. She is very clever. We can't have that though. I must read it. Well this will slightly put a halt in my plan. Hopefully the train station did what I requested. 'Well here I go.' I thought as I left my office.

Natsu's P.O.V

While I was drinking away my sorrows which wasn't working. I can't believe Lucy is gone. She can't be gone. "Luce, please come back." I mumbled. I looked up to the second floor and see Master. I can't even call him Gramps anymore after what he did to Lucy.

"Listen up, my children." He said which is weird because he normally calls us Brats.

"I have received a letter from Lucy to the guild. For all of those that don't know, Lucy was forced to leave the fairy tail because of what she did." He says as he opens the letter

'Dear Fairy Tail,

Ever since I came to this guild, I finally knew what it felt like to have a family but I guess families aren't forever at least not mine since I was kicked out. I'm not even sure what I did wrong to get myself kicked out. You guys were the world to me, I would never do anything to you guys. Even now when I'm on a train to I don;t even know where, I don't seek revenge. I would say more but I can't. I can't see past my tears. I just hope you guys will live a happy life without me. I'm sorry I can't be in your life anymore but I promise I'll never forget any of you.

Master finished reading the letter and everyone was in tears including me, except my tears weren't just tears of sadness but of rage. This letter proves that Luce didn't do anything to Wendy. Something else is going on here and I will find out what.
