Previously on Morningstar knights:
Lucy was forced to leave the guild when Carla came into the guild with Wendy in her arms. Wendy was half dead when they came to the guild and Carla finally told Natsu and the others that Lucy did this to her. Lucy had just arrived in Claude after she leaves the guild and meets up with her father's old business partner, Lady Leah. Leah tells Lucy that she needs to bring her to safety. Now on their way to Leah's guild, Morningstar Knights.
(Present Time)
Lucy's P.O.V
"Sounds pretty neat but why did you choose that name?" I remembered when I was first told about what Fairy Tail meant.
"well it has two meanings. The first meaning is based off of who I used to be, well actually my brother and I. We were both knights and we each had magic that we made our morningstars out of. The second meaning is the sun covered by the night."
"You mean an eclipse?" I shouted because I think I figured it out as she smiled.
"Yes my dear." Leah said. "Now there are two main rules in my guild." I got scared when she said that because of her tone.
"What are those, Ma'am?" I stuttered.
"Don't be scared. They are simple rules. You just always have to wear a cloak and have an undercover name. Although for you, there is a third rule. You have to change your real name if you decided you want to join my guild. Before you decide, I want you to see my guild hall. So pick a nickname and a color." She pretty much demanded.
After a couple of minutes, I finally spoke up. "Cosmic." That's all I said.
"Young lady, that is a fine name but I said a name and color." She gave me a stern look.
"And I gave you an answer for both demands." I said as she started to laugh.
"Oh, I understand now." She giggled." "But never back talk me again, Understand?"
"Aye Sir!" I looked down right after I said that. "I'm sorry, I mean yes ma'am."
"Why did you just seem upset for a second when you said 'Aye Sir', Cosmic?" Leah wondered.
"An exceed who is a member of Fairy tail used to say that." I shyly said.
"I'm sorry, lovely but we are here." I stopped dead in my tracks. This place looked just like the Heartfilia mansion. "I modeled if after your house if you didn't realize that already. Now hood up, Cosmic." I looked down and saw that I was wearing a cloak that was like a dress that had the cosmic universe on it.
"This is beautiful." I exclaimed. "Thank you."
"You're welcome, now come child. We have a lot to talk about." She welcomed me inside but the way she called me child reminded me of someone.
I flipped my hood up and realized that there was a magic shield blocking anyone to see face which made me sort of happy because I can start a whole new life here. I was smiling even though no one saw. Within the guild, there were only a few members here. With a guild hall this size, there must be more members. Looking around, each member had a different color cloak. Some are similar but different. I saw normal colors such as purple, yellow, pink. Then other shades such as maroon. Then there were weird ones like the sky in the day and night. I walked right past everyone and followed Leah. It was weird that this was so similar to my childhood home. Leah's office was pretty much were my dad's was.
"Now my dear, take a seat." I did as she told me to. This office was just a little smaller than my dad's but I still felt like a tear was going to escape my eyes because of how similar it was. "So what do you think so far?" She asked as she sat at her desk.
"It's strange to be in a place that looks like my old home but it looks like a nice guild so far. All of the cloaks are amazing and it looks like they were having fun, drinking, playing pool and such. I'm still not so sure about this place yet. I would have to talk to some of the members, if that isn't an issue?" I crossed my legs as I said that.
"No, that's no problem but first we have other matters to talk about." She had a stern look on her face.
"Which are?" I questioned.
"Remembered at the tea house, I said this was all planned." I nodded. "Well it's true, it was planned by your master and I. We have known for a long time that there was something special about you." I gave her this concerning look.
"What do you mean?" I questioned again.
"Just let me explain." I shut my mouth. "When I used to work with your dad, I had heard a rumor about a powerful lacrima that was placed in the hands of a child even though no one really knew who. I was just going through stuff in your mansion because your father said I could take a few things if I wanted to. When I was searching, I found this." She placed a notebook on the desk which looked familiar.
"That's my mother's." I shouted.
"Yes, my dear. It was her notebook but I'm glad no one else found it. it holds the secrets of the lacrima." I was shocked.
"How would my mother know about the lacrima?"
"Well it says here that she found it in two parts in a temple on a mission she went on once. When she found it, she researched it until she knew everything that was written about it. She was terrified of it but she needed to hide it. This is were you come in. She placed half of the lacrima inside you." I was happy was I sitting because if I wasn't, I would have fallen over. "The only reason you can't use the lacrima, I think is because you need all of it."
"Where is the other half?" I don't know why I asked that.
"Let me see." She started to scan over the notebook. "It doesn't actually say."
"Let me see that." I took the notebook away from her and saw a sketch of something I wish I hadn't seen. "I know where it is."
"Where?" She looked at me surprised that I figured it out.
"It all makes sense now." I mumbled.
What do you mean?" She was confused.
"The other half is the reason I was able to summon the celestial king." I said as I was looking through my keys. "My mother hid the other half in Aquarius' key which is why when I broke it, I was able to summon the king." My mind was blown.
"That does make sense. Let me see the key." I handed over the broken key and she started to say a spell when it snapped open. The other half of the lacrima was laying right there in front of us. Leah quickly took out what looked like a communication lacrima.
"Call Makarov." She said.
"Why are you called my old master?" She didn't answer but Makarov did.
"Yes Leah, why did you call me?" He asked.
"We found it." His face fell.
