Percy's P.O.V

I silently watched the wolf walk around the camp, sniffing and growling. It was a deep red brown colour, like dried blood. It's eyes were glowing a bright golden colour which reminded me of Luke. It was the size of a horse, but much stealthier. It had big paws with giant claws and fangs. Its muzzle was stained with blood. I was crouched down on branch. I shifted my weight and was horrified when something snapped beneath my feet. It would usually be a small sound, but in the silence, it sounded as loud as a gunshot. I froze, as did the wolf. It whirled around and set its eyes on me. It snarled at me, growling loudly.

"Good doggy." I muttered nervously. It ran and jumped. It crashed into the branch right below the one I was on. I jumped in fright as it snarled and snapped, trying to reach me. It jumped again and again, slowly getting closer. As it jumped, it snapped at my feet, missing me by only inches. It paced around the tree, growling. I knew next time, it wouldn't miss. As it leapt, I jumped. I landed with thud and rolled. I stood up and pulled Firestorm off of my finger. I imagined it as a sword, similar to Riptide. A fire red sword, that looked like Riptide appeared in my hand. It had flame patterns engraved on its hilt and blade. It had a small Ruby on its pommel. It fitted perfectly in my hand. The wolf growled and circled me. I turned in a circle, watching it. It suddenly lunged and I dodged to the side. It snarled and leapt at me. I rolled and slashed at it. I heard a yelp and then a deep growl. It had a cut across its face and it was glaring at me with hatred. Dodge, cut, roll, jab, deflect, stab, repeat. I was tiring quickly and knew I wouldn't last much longer. The wolf jumped at me with supernatural speed. I tried to move out of the way, but wasn't fast enough. We both tumbled the ground, it was snapping and biting at me. I tried to fight it away, but it got past my defence. Its head darted forward and clamped my shoulder in its mouth. I scream as hot pain shot through my shoulder. I acted on instinct and stabbed upwards with Firestorm. I hear a yelp and the pain lessened. I saw it limp away, a huge wound on its stomach. It howled in the night sky and burst into silver dust. Wait, silver dust? I groaned as fiery pain shot through my body. I tried to get up but fell back down again. My shoulder throbbed as I leaned against a tree. Darkness edged my view and soon I passed out from pain.
