Reyna!Percy's P.O.V
"Monos? May I speak with you?" I turned to look at Leo. He looked down nervously. I gestured with my nose to the Artemis cabin. He followed me, pausing at the doorway before entering fully. The walls glowed silver throughout the whole day. Silver Moonlace grew on the windowsills and the constantly moving images of wolves, trees and wind decorated the walls. Leo looked around in awe. Almost none of the campers had ever seen the inside of Artemis' cabin. I turned to him and lay down on my bed. Yes, even if I'm a wolf, I've got a bed.
"I know who you are." Leo stated. I gave him a blank look.
"Congratulations. You know that I am Monos, werewolf guardian of the hunt." I deadpanned. Leo narrowed his eyes at me.
"I know that you are Percy Jackson." He said.
"How did you find out?" I asked with a sigh and shifted into a human.
"I was at the clearing when you healed yourself with water." He responded. "Is it true what you did to Annabeth?" He asked softly. I shook my head.
"Actually, the opposite. She broke up with me and convinced everyone that I had broken her heart."
"I knew it! I knew all along that you wouldn't betray her." Leo said, smiling widely. I smiled back.
"Glad to know that at least one person as on my side."
"So it's true. You are Percy." Nico said, stepping out of a shadow. Both Leo and I jumped.
"How did you find out?" I asked.
"I eavesdropped on your conversation." Nico shrugged.
"I can't believe- Hang on, didn't Will forbid you from using your powers." Nico scowled at me.
"So what if he did? He's not my boyfriend." He said, then blushed as he realised what he had said. Leo and I shared a smile.
"Not yet, anyway." Leo said, grinning. Nico went even redder.
"I can't believe it's really you!" Piper said as she and Jason burst through the door.
"And you found out how?" I asked, slightly annoyed.
"We were watching you through the window the whole time."
"Is everyone spying on me these days?" I sighed in frustration. Jason, Piper, Nico and Leo all exchanged guilty grins. At once, they all surrounded me in a huge bear hug.
"What the Hades is going on here?" Thalia asked, standing in the door, arms crossed. They all separated and I shifted back into a wolf.
"They found out." I said simply.
"All of them?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"They were spying on me." I shot them a glare. They all just smiled and shrugged. I rolled my eyes at them.
"Why are you all in this cabin?" Annabeth sneered from the doorway. Instantly I felt the fur on my spine rise, anger surging through me.
"Because being with a 'mutt' as you call him, is better than being with you." Thalia spat. She looked offended.
"You have no right to speak to me like that. Come on guys." Annabeth ordered, turning away. I looked back at the four people behind me. They all looked uncomfortable. It took a moment for Annabeth to realise no one was following her.
"Well? What are you waiting for?" She demanded.
"Annabeth, go away." Piper burst out. Annabeth looked shocked at the fury in her friend's eyes.
"What?" She asked, confused.
"We know what you did, and we know that Percy never cheated on you." Nico said with a glare. She opened and closed her mouth like a fish out of water.
"I-I... you... what?" She stammered. I looked down, feeling slightly bad for Annabeth.
"I'm gonna go for a walk." I muttered and pushed past Annabeth, sensing that they were about to start a fight. I froze as a familiar smell entered my nose and a young girl appeared in front of me.
"Lady Artemis." I said with a respectful nod of my head. She smiled.
"Hello." Then she became serious. "I have a solo mission for you." I nodded.
"What is it?" I asked.
"You must go to Mount Tam, to see if the Titans have made their base there. It's just a scouting mission, so don't take any chances." She said. I felt myself bristle at the thought of going back to place that Zoe had been killed. I just nodded though.
"Alright." I said, grudgingly. Her eyes softened.
"I know it will be hard going back there." She said gently. I lowered my head, blinking fiercely against the tears that threatened to spill.
"When must I go?" I asked.
"Before the sun sets today. If you fly there, it should take at least two days." She said.
"Alright. I'll go say bye to Thalia." I said, walking away. I could almost feel Artemis' sadness wash over me when she thought about her dead friend.
"Monos! There you are!" Thalia said. I gave her a wolfy smile.
"Just the person I was looking for." I said.
"What's up?" She asked.
"Artemis is sending me on a solo mission." I quickly summed it up for her. She frowned.
"That sounds dangerous." She muttered, but I just smiled warmly at her. Well, as much as I could for a wolf.
"Tell Leo, Piper, Jason and Nico I say bye." I said, turning into a fire bird/phoenix and launching into the sky with a bird like cry.I flew past Ladon unnoticed, and I landed on the ground, transforming back to normal as I hid in a shadow. I saw Hyperion, in all his fiery glory, talking to Krios. Atlas was cursing them from beneath the sky. I tried to listen in on their conversation, but I didn't hear much over Atlas' shouting at his brothers (I think that they're his brothers). A faint slithering sound filled the air and I leapt away as the Python struck at me. Krios and Hyperion turned around, hearing the fight. I cursed under my breath as they saw me. I turned into a bird and took off, circling the Python then diving down. I swerved a strike and raked my talons across its one good eye. It shrieked and lunged blindly for me, but I easily dodged it. I landed, instantly turning into a wolf and lunging. I grabbed its tail in my jaws and bit down, jumping back again as it whirled around, trying to find me. I leapt up, my claws slicing through scales. It hissed and struck where it thought I was. I rolled away, but its giant fang grazed my leg. I let out a yelp, limping slightly. I turned into my human form, Firestorm in my hand in the shape of a sword. I slashed the blade across its neck and with a squeal, the serpents body collapsed to the ground. Its head rolled away. I panted, sweat running down my face. I glanced at the wound on my leg, my eyes widening as I saw that it had a poisonous green colour around the cut. Poison. I instinctively ducked as Hyperion's swung at me, kicking him away, then gasping in pain at my injured leg. I knew that I was no match for them, even when uninjured. I felt my moves growing sluggish as the poison worked through my system and I was blocking less and less of their blows. Krios kicked me in the chest and I was thrown back. My head cracked against the stone floor, darkness edging my vision. I let out a groan of pain, then the darkness pulled me unconscious.
