Chapter Three: confusion

Some farmers who was returning from work along with their families had found the the lifeless body went back to inform to the empire."bari mijina ya sanar da sarki jiki ya yi kama da na bakon da ya shigo"
The one of the farmers wife advice "yes you have a point " they all agreed and went towards the palace taking the body with them ,the farmers rushed into the palace shouting at the top of their voice as the palace guards revive them by collecting to he body from them as the nearest guard went to alert the empire ,the empire having heard the shout in the palace already find his way to the court chamber in company of her majesty .Upon seeing the bodies which had being laid on the floor shouted out their names "Amaka ...!!...Nafiat !!" The Empire calls out to them as if to confirm his fears "yaushe wadannan farin ciki" he asked facing the farmers ," long Live your majesty " the farmers greets , ignoring their greeting he asked again  "yaushe wadannan farin ciki" the crown prince walked in as the farmers greets the prince before explaining the whole ordeal and their encounter with the body  .the prince face the woman whom had found the body and asks her for more details .
"jikin ya kasance uku gaba ɗaya lokacin da na gan shi na yi ƙoƙarin taɓa shi kawai ya ɓace wa ubangijina ina tsammanin akwai trpule a cikin mulkin" she answer  the prince steps back in awe "how can a body vanish just by a mere torch? "  He asks  confused as both mother and son stares at each other .
"In the ancient times before your grandfather stop it all whenever the fort coming festival is well accepted by the gods of our land ,and I strongly belief the visitor must have heard the scream and decide to trace it until she became exhausted and faint ...,so now let's focus on taking caring of the visitor and burying the dead" explain an age man among the farmers thou the Empire doubt his conclusions but dismiss them
"Father do you mean that ?" Ask the prince
" He is right in accordance to what he said but it was stopped a long time ago after the war we had with about four neighborhood kingdom from far away whose children had being victim ,my father your grandfather stop it all as soon as he was made the new Empire of the kingdom , thus making him one of the great empire that has ever ruled " the king explained  as the prince nods his head ."A.k  you the prince take the girl to the royal clinic ,and you Mk give the farmers their due rewards " the Empire order as they both bow in respect to him .
                                  Later that day at mid night.            
The Empire keep pacing up and down as different thought keeps running through his mind ,the prince walks in greeting the Empire in a polite way he sits down
"Father I'm restless , I can't seem to being my self to bed !"he says looking at the floor " I never knew you were awake until I saw you walk down the court room " he added as the Empire breath in and out , sitting beside him  "my son you are right ,have being restless ever since the incident early this evening ....,' the Empire takes a deep breath before continuing
"If truly  it's history that is repeating itself ..,then it was never written in in the historical book  that a stranger be the first to hear the scream of the victim neither see the corpse "the Empire explains
"Father what if she has a thing to do with the future !" The prince suggest
"Young prince !!"his father calls out " "yes father ,I mean think of it ,the gods will not do anything without having a reason behind it !"the prince states " are you trying to say that the gods are adjoining future of the kingdom to a total stranger ?" The Empire asked in confusion .
The prince said nothing but stare at his feet .
"Or better still a calamity is about to befall the kingdom ...,or maybe the gods wants me to get stock with the stranger"the prince says smiling as the Empire smile at his son at how much more he takes the words with levity hand.
"Do you like her ?"he asks looking at his son
" I don't have a choice remember ..,I was born to rule and wait for whosoever the gods pick for me " the prince state bitterly as the Empire pats his back .

"Get me the chief priest...!"the empire say
"Father it's late already !" The prince says " first thing tomorrow morning ...bring him to the court room ..., Do you understand ?!" The empire says before walking back to his chamber leaving the prince behind .
