chapter four : Introduction

Dawn draw slowly the news spread like a flame of fire ..,Amaka slowly regain her conscious ,back in the palace an emergency meeting was held to address the issues on ground while they await the coming of the chief priest while the meeting was going on Amaka had become fully conscious of her environment as the guard fills her in with the past occurance and how she was rescued by the farmers ,after the whole narration the guard told her the empire and other chief needs her attention in the palace immidately  after she had gain her conscious ,she demands to go home and change but the guard refuse her .
           In the palace       
The chief priest had started consulting the Oracle while the chief and ministers wait patiently and the Empire taps his foots in haste and the prince gaze at the wall clock like one waiting for an appointment or job interview , finally the chief priest clears his throat ,looks up and down and then shakes his head .
"Talk to us high priest , this silent of yours is beginning to frighten us , spill the bean ,my honourable priest " the right hand of the Empire says .
"My greetings to you all and mostly to the royal household ,the gods are speaking in riddles ,and the oracle's of the land says we should not panic for there is no cause for alarm ." The priest says with a wry smile confused the minister exchange looks .
"What do you mean ?" Ask the minister of war .
" They say as long as the lady lives ,no harm will befall us " the chief priest reply with a calm And serious voice .
Just as the prince was about to speak Amaka walks in in company of the royal guard on sighting the chief priest she steps back .

"You don't need to run my dearest daughter ,daughter of the goddess ,queen of beauty ,the eye seer of the gods of Ezzra kingdom greet you " the chief priest acknowledge her  .
In total confusion Amaka asked
"What are you talking about ? " She ask as all eyes now turn towards her and the priest .
" You know what I'm saying ...now it's time to follow your destiny and find your destination ...!,you can't run forever for what await you." He says staring at her eyeball to eyeball .
"And who the fuck are you anyway !?" She asks .
" I'm the mighty eye seer of the gods ."he says and gather up his things  to go but Amaka hold him by the arm .
" I'm Amaka by name a student ,u came here for some research on something personal , I'm studying law ,started living alone at the age of eight ,I don't remember much about my parents but the several night is pointing to nowhere familiar ,I have hired many investigator to dear but it's always lead to nothing ....,I came across these place on the map " she explain by these time she is already sitting on the floor .
"Well untill you find your purpose in this place ,I will be consulting the dead for your sake."he answer .
" Don't bother doing that ...I may regret it later " she answered but was interrupted by the prince
"Why don't you want to consult them ?" he asks she turns around to see who was speaking with the mere looking at the prince her heartbeat increase as she opens her mouth in bewilderment ,the prince repeat his questions ignoring her stares .
"Why don't you want to surmorn ?" He asked
" I don't want to disturb the dead !" She says not taking her eye off him
"Or don't you agree with me young man ?"she ask
"I belief you haven't spoken your minds yet , young lady?" He reply
"What do you know about me that made you interrupt my peaceful conversation huh?" She ask standing up .
" Enough of all these ,and for the last time do you wish to speak with the dead young lady ?" The Empire asks provoked by the manner to which Amaka had approach the prince .

"Count me out of it , may I take my leave am so tired for the day ;and as for you young man I could advice you put your nose wherever it belongs to ; don't you know the difference between public affairs and private talks ?she asks
"Mind your tongue ...,before I slice it off ?" One the chiefs say out of anger
"Did you just threaten me ? Amaka asks
" Don't you know you are talking to the future Empire!" Says one of the minister ,as Amaka stares at the young prince , embarrassed .
"Sorry for my rudeness " Amaka apologize bowing slightly giving the prince dead glare .
"It's fine since there was no formal introduction " the prince reply with a smirk
"What do you say about the surmorn?" The prince ask again
"Whatever you feel is right ,do it " she answer
"Then I will take that as a yes " he reply as Amaka nods and turn to face the silent priest and nods to the priest who then turns around and go .
"When do I get to go home ?" She asks
" We'll take this as your home now "the empire answer .
"I'm sorry your majesty ..but I'm still a student !" She answer
" Yes we know but we are following the tradition of the land ;and you stay untill the consultation is done " one of the minister reply
" Guess I finally get my self into a morass situation "she says as the chief and minister start to leave  .
"With your permission ..I would love to go home at least for the night ..I will come back tomorrow to do the necessary " she says  the Empire nods in agreement .
Both father and son sighn out .
"Father could you belief it ,she looks so charming , pretty I bet no maiden in the kingdom can be compared to her ,the way she speaks like an angel sent to earth to come and save the world ,"he says not realizing all what he saying  as the Empire pats his head
"Are fall in love with a stranger " his father ask
" Dad I can't fall for ...I just appreciate her effort and the effort of the gods on creating " the prince say
" Good I guess the bloody prince now have a taste of woman and wants to tend to , you can go process your love to her " with these the Empire walks toward his chamber
" Trust me father I'm not in love with her " the prince shout after his father before going into his personal chamber.
