Chapter six: Answers

"I know for a fact that you have so many questions to ask "the Empire says as Amaka stare at the prince who was busy chewing his piece of meat ,she nods her head
"Today I will answer almost all your questions and leave the rest for you to find out " he says ignoring her discomfort "so bring up your question ;he says as he breath out
" Why is there no secondary school here ?" She ask as the prince laughs making her to palm face her self .
" Well here in Ezzra kingdom we value and cherish our culture more than anything ,we do have school few miles away near the foreign market where both fararen maza and student like you come "he explains
"Why do your girls get married at early stage ?" She asks as the prince cough as the Empire let out a wry smile  " that is due to the fact that we don't want them going astray "he says as she nods her head jointing down every little thing the Empire say " why is there no water supply ?"she asks
"From the ancient time to these present day even my father doesn't drink from the tap neither from the borehole instead he drinks from the stream and ..," he could barely finish his sentence as Amaka interrupt him .
" Why drinking from a lovely stream ,what if it's being infected or poison ...,I don't understand why you would allow your people to live in ancient way and avoid the modern way of living ,do mind explaining !"she say .
" I will take the explanation from here ...,so hope you are enjoying the breeze ?" Says the queen as she whisper something to the Empire who stand up and excuse himself .
"Why don't you two follow me ."she says
" I'm sorry mother I don't think she will be able to follow due to certain assignment she has to sort before cock crow " the prince explain as Amaka give him a dead glare
"Yes your majesty ,the prince is right ...am sorry about these " she says smiling hoping she didn't hurt the old woman feeling "oh it's okay you may leave but do make sure you come back by cock crow "she turn to leave along with the prince Amaka leave immediately .
              
" So mother what do you think about her ..., Hum do you like her ,did you see any quality of wife in her ? The prince asks his hope high .
The queen smiles
"Let's the gods decide that ,and only time will tell the kind of person she is ,that the prince of love ,unity and freedom appeared himself instead of the prince of love and dove ,you understand what I mean by  the prince of dove ,now let's head inside ..,and allow the gods sort the mystery by themselves ." She says
"I love when you talk in riddles but mother don't you think she might have some powers that makes the ancient prince appear ? " he asks as the maid open the chamber , the Empire clears his throat to make them feel his presence ..
"And who is the lady in question ?" The Empire asks
" No one in general ..my Ezzra Empire " the prince reply
" When did secret start in the royal family ..., Hope you know the consequences of your action ?" He ask
" When does the Empire starting interfering in the "mother and son talk ? " The queen ask as the prince start laughing as they both turn to face him .
"My apologies " he says bowing down
" Well my dear ,am lost of words but then I miss the time our family had being together like this ,the times we empty our minds to each other " the queen says sitting beside the Empire
"You know with the way things are going now my dear people of Ezzra needs me more and remember that if anything should go wrong in the feast of Ezzra you all know the consequences "he says looking at the prince who look confused.
"If anything goes wrong a heavy calamity will befall the kingdom so I'll advice you all not to keep any secret neither allow the people to find fault on your aspect of ruling so it won't be used against us ." The Empire says as they both nods their head in agreement " well then don't make mistake !" The queen states
" Father just like mother as said we can't afford to make any mistakes that reminds me the new maiden seeks to know about the custom of the land " the prince says
" Your mother can handle that " the Empire reply
" That won't be a problem " the queen answer
" Then take her around the kingdom ,propose to her before our enemies do ...,am I clear ?" The Empire asked
" What's going on...,a moment ago you were hating her, another you were enduring her trouble and rudeness and now you want me to propose to her ....,where is that done ?" The prince ask stand up
" Sit down !"the Empire command as the prince obeys .
" It's high time the people know about the crown princess "the queen says
" You are not getting any younger !" The Empire says as the prince boils with anger " I thought you always loved her " to get queen says
" But mother don't you think it's will be suspicious , what will the people think ,what will she says ?" The prince lament to his parents facing them
" We are not asking you to rush things ,okay you have just two glimpse of moon to get your task complete so take your time !" The Empire say stands up and exist to his chamber .
" My child this is all you have to do for the kingdom sake ..." The queen says and grabbing his cheeks and smile .
" I understand Mother " was all he managed to say
               
After cock crow in the evening Amaka walks into the palace as she was directed to the queen chamber where by the queen give her lecture regarding the kingdom ,the lives of the royal family and she asks and urge her to see her as a mother .
