Calum's POV

All these days i've been thinking what harm could i do in one clueless rumour? Her slap was vicious , i gotta give it to her she's stronger than before . I don't really care , if i made that rumour up it was just for a laugh and plus Elena should've known this before. Let me tell you a story , I knew her since we were in diapers and what-ever and now she come's back and literally pushes me out of her life.

"Why did you even make that stupid rumour up , Calum" I see Luke walking towards me , as i had my head against my locker. "Answer me" Luke nudged me and all i could do was retaliate by pushing him back . "What's your problem Luke? why you being so serious?"

"Why am i being serious? do you know what you've just done? you made her a life a complete hell" He's right , i can't just go up to her and apologise you see and act like everything's going to be okay , but its not going to be okay. She's been back for a day and i just made her year a start of hell .

After Luke lectured me , we walked off and made our way to music, as of well i like music , i am a artist. I fiddled with my bass quiet oftenly and quickly shot my eye's up quickly to see Elena , her eyes were shot-red , trying to keep her tears from falling. She tried to ignore the fact that people were still looking at her , since she kept her head down. I feel guilty.

She unexpectedly sat next to me , still she didn't make eye-contact with me . I again , wanted to make a fool out of the situation again as i tried to wind her up many times as possible , but still no reaction. "You know , one thing you should do is just give up , it's not going to work" Elena said with a smug look on her face , showing that she is not going to give in .

"Why don't you just go and suck on someone else's candy stick" Her eyes , widened immediately , knowing that she wanted to attack me again. She was fuming , yet again she didn't react.

Elena's POV

The entire lesson all Calum did was fiddling with his bass and just making remarks about me and his 'rumour'. I walked alone through the corridors and luckily today , people were not whispering or staring at me while i was making my way down to my locker.

"Hey wait!" I heard a voice called out at me and realised who he was , I caught a glimpse over at Luke who was approaching me and there's me attracting myself to him . "You seriously need to stop scaring me" I said while he quickly made his way next to while we- i suppose are making our way to my locker .

"Elena , by the way can i call you Lena?" I turned my head towards him and squinted my eyes at him and giggled. "Seriously? and no , my friends call me Lena" Luke shook his head and bumped into me. "Well , how do i become your friend?"

In surprise i thought maybe i would give him a chance , but he's Calum friend and i don't know if i can trust him in being a friend . He's so cute and especially found his lip ring kind of attractive. "Well , we can go and get some ice cream and tell each other stories and i mean embarrassing ones , including where i spilt all the food on the head-teacher once"

Luke was surprised and laughed out loud , making me flutter. "You're being serious right? so your that girl that did it"

"Yeah , that's me" Still walking down the corridor . "Worst thing , a meatball went inside her shirt and let's guess it went into her bra"

The two of us laughed harder . " Really! I don't think my embarrassing stories can beat that. But i do have embarrassing one's about the boys"

I held onto my stomach for a long time , from the times i had laughed hard "Spill" I said as we stopped for a second and Luke walked further.

We made our way to my locker and Luke smirked at me , making eye contact. "I'd rather save them for our ice cream date , not that i'm saying it's a date or anything but still we can just satisfy our cravings at a slightly over-priced rate"

Luke's fingers reached up to scratch the back of his neck . "Well then , Elena would you like to go on a date with me , because i want to call you Lena and it's just easier"

I giggled and a tint of shade pink appeared on my checks . "Yes Luke , i'll go on a date with you" I formed a smile at him while he smiled back at me too .

"It's a date then , Elena" He answered as i could tell he was quiet nervous and his hands were started to get clammy as mines did too . "So you wanna go on a Friday at six?"

"Yes , i'll see you then" I replied , smiling brightly at him as he walked away from my locker. I was never like this , comftorable before with dates with someone i barely even talked with . He was adorable like a penguin . I could sense of chemistry between us. "By the way , thank you for being there for me"

He nodded and walked away to his friends to the other side of the locker , I looked to my locker to put my books away as i turned , i already made eye-contact with Calum , suddenly my angered mood had crept back into my skin at the remembrance why Luke is here , talking to me .
