Elena's POV

Day's just passed rapidly , while i was stuck at home crying my eyes out from the things that i have witnessed from both Luke and Calum.

Firstly , Luke broke up with me after we 'dated' for a short period of time after telling me he still had feelings for Talia and ouch.

Second of all , Calum can't stand him at all. He put me through so much and telling him that i lost my memory was shocking to him , how couldn't he tell ? and lastly telling him that once i liked him more than just a friend , was nerve-wrecking , he was speechless. I was embarrassed.

Elena dear come out please , you've been in your room for nearly a week" I refused to get out my room , as i didn't want to go to school to face either both of them . I hate my life.

I gave up and walked out to my mum and embraced her into a big hug. "Why does everything happen to me, I don't deserve this" I sobbed and continued to sob into my mom's arms , i need someone by my side and that's my mom.

"Don't say that dear, i know it's been a downfall for all of us JJ, you and me are suffering , but don't worry we're going to fight it" She was right , we are going to fight it no matter what, forget about Calum . I'm just doing me and don't care what people will say, cause i'm going to be stronger.

I got to school aka hellhole and managed my way to avoid drama from either and stayed away from it for half of the day until Calum came up to me and what he does best harassing me. "We need to talk"

I completely ignored him and made my way towards science.

Talia noticed me and quickly made space for me to sit beside her in class. "You okay girl?" I nodded and smiled at her. "I heard that you and Luke are together now?" She nodded and smiled widely , happy for her . Even though me and Luke 'went out' as we continued to talk , people were making their way in their seat.

During the lesson , Calum bursts his way into class , knowing that he was late and apologised. I was highly uncomfterable noticing Calum staring at me during the lesson and did nothing but to avoid it. I couldn't handle it anymore.

Finally , finished with science but still got 5 other subjects to go , what is life. I noticed a figure was walking beside me and it was non other than Calum . "What?"

"I need to talk to you , you didn't tell me the full story c'mon Elena it ain't hard" I ignored him , however he managed to grasp a tight grip around my arm, which i winced and tried to get out of. "I ain't letting go until you tell me" . I gave in and pulled him near to a quiet area. "well?"

"I told you everything that there was , what else do you want?" He scoffed and walked away from me. "After the day of my accident , i suffered a lot, not only myself mum and JJ were suffering , they still are. After we moved away we still didn't feel like family , we were a outcast . No one barely made conversations with us. Now that we have come back , we are suffering so much worse than before ,we have no money" Calum turned and looked at me in surprise and walked closely to me. "You should've told me all of this"

Tears were forming, i tried my best from releasing the tears and successfully did. I shook my head and looked up to Calum. "When i came back, i didn't know who you were , how was i supposed to tell you this?"

"I can help , my mom , me , Mali and dad can help you-"

"I don't need your help ,Calum . I need someone who will support me and help me be the happiest person alive, this me right now , this is not the Elena that everyone loved. This Elena is a joy kill"

My mind was just everywhere and managed to run away from Calum and quickly found a peaceful place, where i would just have my alone time. I got a photo out of my bag and gazed into the photograph of me and my family at their best times and sobbed my eyes out.

Calum's POV

I'm confused ,why doesn't she need my help? yes i gave her a tough time , but knowing that she barely has anything to eat or even have any money. I'm feeling guilty now , Elena was a happy - outgoing chick , but this side of Elena is dragging her down to even feeling depressed. I need to talk with the boys.

"Michael , i need to talk to you"

Michael finally arrived at my house , after a hour and walked straight in , no knock . typical michael.

"Now that you're here , i need to tell you something"

"What is it?"

I took a long pause , thinking how am i going to say it without mentioning Elena . oh man this is difficult.

"There's this girl you know , met her recently and she became a good friend and-"

I couldn't do it , i just can't .

"Okay , fuck it. It's Elena , she needs help our help"

"Why?" Michael questioned still staring at me. I shook my head and carried on.

"Well , she needs money , she's poor. she want's her old self back , we can do it but, without telling her."

"Okay, i'm confused" I rolled my eyes and continued to tell Michael why we need to help her. "Since her dad passed , her family moved and struggled and then they moved back and struggled even more."

Michael stared at me for the past 5mins and all i did was wait for his answer. "So you want to help the girl you bullied?"

"Yes" I answered . Elena needs my help , i know she don't want anything to do with me or anything , but I'm going to help her.

Elena's POV

I returned from school and all i did is run to the place , where i would find my own comfort my room.

"Elena?"  It's JJ , i can't see him like this . He's my brother and I have to no matter what help him and my mom and earn some money.

I answered the door and look to JJ with a worried look displayed on him. "I got some money that i got from a friend"

"What money?"

"The money that can help me , you and mom" JJ walked back to his room as i followed to see where possibly the money has come from.

I walked in to his room and see a load of money piled on top of his and i was confused as in, where the hell did this money come from?!

"JJ"

"Yes"

"Where did you all this money from?!"

"I told you my friend had a job and i did it and got the money"

His friend gave him a job? what , which friend and what is he doing?

"Drugs , ain't it?" JJ ignored my comment and continued to stack his money into a bag , i am disgusted.

"JJ , listen to me! your doing jobs as in drug dealing? how ,when ,why?" I'm speechless , i do not know what to do with this boy , my brother is not this.

I continued to ask him but , no reply and how did this even start and i'm gob smacked , i can't believe he would do this.

"Yes , drugs you know why? so that i can pay our bills without you!"

"Without me? what do you mean by that? you've changed JJ , your not the same JJ , i used to know and have with anymore" I shook my head continuously and had no other choice than to ring , the person i despise.
