It had been 11 months since then. Almost a year. There had barely been any missions. You haven't seen Black since the mission. MI6 was slow. Most of what you did was write down information about past double o missions with Nomi. The government had offered you the opportunity to write a story about the Safin mission so they could publish it to the world. You had declined. Nomi kept telling you that you should. You told you that only a part was yours. The part about his past. Because you were a part of it.

"y/n, you're the best one to do this!" Nomi pleaded as we poured over documents. "You need to write the story."

"And tell the world he's my father? No." You wrote down some notes before putting a stapled pile of papers onto a growing stack of documents.

"You don't have to say that. You could just talk about the mission." Nomi said. "The world needs to know what happened."

"You can tell it." You said.

"They would trust it from a double o." Nomi said. "You're the best source. I'll pitch in for a chapter for my point of view. So will Q and M. Maybe we can get some information from his followers. Like Logan and Primo."

"I don't want to talk to Logan and Primo." You said. "But maybe you can."

"Are you willing to write the story for the government?" Nomi asked, setting a file aside.

"Maybe." You said.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"It should be called 'the mission of all missions' or 'every choice we've made has led to this'." Nomi said.

"I didn't agree to write this." You said. "I want a big mission."

"Even bigger than your fathers?" Nomi asked.

"I just want a mission." You said. "I'm bored."

"We all are y/n." Nomi said. "Just go with the flow."

"I'm trying." You said. "I just miss... the thrill."

"What's this about a thrill?" Nomi asked.

"You know what I mean. The thrill."

"I'm not sure what thrill you mean." Nomi said.

"The thrill of being in a fight." You explained. "In a life or death situation."

"Oh." Nomi said, returning to a document. "I know what thrill you mean. And I certainly don't miss it."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You creeped out of MI6 when no one was looking. You got into your car and drove off. The memories of past missions were circulating around in your head. Your hands gripped your steering wheel and turned white.

"Stay away from y/n. Or I will find you. Do you understand?"

"They would trust it from a double o."

"You're the best one to do this! You need to write the story."

"Don't underestimate Black."

"My last name is y/l/n. My brother left before my father did and he ended up in a cell."

"I certainly don't miss it."

The light turned red and you pulled to a stop.

"You need to write the story!"

"They would trust it from a double o."

"You should write the story." You looked at the passenger's seat and saw you sitting there. "Write the story y/n, it's what they want."

"But it's not what I want." The light turned green and you started the car.

"Still," The other you said. "It'll make them like you more."

"Why would I want them to like me more?" You asked, eyes fixed on the road ahead.

"It's simple. So they won't hate you again. So they won't send you away again." You said.

"Go away." You said.

"Come one, y/n, write the story! Do it!"

"GO AWAY!" You yelled.

"Just write the story." And that was it. The other you was gone. It left you shaking. You turned back to MI6.

Do it!"

You took a deep breath as you pulled up to MI6. Should I write the story?

Yes?

No?

Maybe?

Should I?
