Salmon..? •Inumaki Toge x Reader•

Filler Chapter 1

!! Warning !! This chapter contains themes of stalking, language, harassment, and other things that can make someone feel unsafe. This chapter is loosely based on an event that had happened to me when I first started writing this fanfiction in March, and I needed a way to release it and cope. Think of this as more of a one-shot. What happens in here isn't connected to the overall plot of this fic, but you can certainly use this to see kinda how I'm anticipating Toge to act towards the reader later on.

If you or anyone you know has gone through something as scary and traumatizing as this, I'm so sorry. No one should ever have to deal with this and feel physically unsafe. This experience is one of the most horrifying moments I have ever experienced and I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Please, never go out alone at night. Call friends as you get in and out of cars, and if possible, travel in groups. Know your resources, and make sure the people around you know how you feel. If they don't help you, knowing you feel unsafe, raise hell.

Again, sorry for a downer and more gloomy mood for a chapter, but I really needed a way to healthily cope with this. Please do not read this if the content will be too much for you. You can skip this chapter and it will not affect the story at all.

"Ah, I can't believe we wrapped Gojo into letting us do this!" Nobara beamed, looking at the different stores that lit up the mall. She was so excited to go shopping for anything and everything under the sun. Tracksuits, dresses, non-uniform clothing, heck, she has even talked about looking at things she normally wouldn't buy just to get the boys in on her gig. Of course, this worked for Yuji, but Megumi remained indifferent.

"You mean, YOU convinced him? I did nothing." You half-groaned. The truth is, you were actually looking forward to this trip. You mainly wanted to buy a cup of coffee or tea and a snack, and maybe look at the cute puppies and kittens at the pet store. Okay,,, you had to admit, the jackets they had out on display looked pretty cool, but you were also trying to budget. And that budget just happened to include buying gifts for all of the classmates. "Besides, I'm pretty sure he just agreed to it so he would have an excuse to buy mochi and other sweets. Also, didn't he mention something about buying Christmas gifts for each other?"

"Salmon," Inumaki agreed from beside you, making you jump in your own skin. You nearly forgot that Gojo, Nobara, and Yuji somehow also roped in the 2nd years for this all-day mall trip. He tilted his head a bit after seeing your reaction. "Mustard Leaf?"

"Yeah, I'm good. Sorry, I kinda forgot you were right there." You let out an awkward laugh, but Toge seemed to understand.

You took a brief moment to take a glance over at everyone. Toge was wearing neutral colors with a black face mask to hide his cursed markings. His white t-shirt was pulled over a black turtle neck. He completed the look with a denim jacket, dark-blue jeans, and a pair of brown boots. Silently, to yourself, you couldn't help but think that Toge looked quite nice in casual gear. Nobara and Yuji were almost dressed as twins. They both settled for bright-colored hoodies, mainly out of indecisiveness for Yuji. Nobara paired her hoodie with a cream-colored skirt over some leggings. Her shoes were bright and colorful sneakers. Yuji was nearly the same except his shoes were a bit tamer along with just wearing some comfortable pants. Maki and Megumi might as well have just come in their uniforms seeing as their style wasn't much different from their default.

Either way, everyone was dressed for cold weather. Megumi brought along a red scarf for himself, but he had it tucked away for right now. Yuji began to fantasize about some hot chocolate with big, puffy marshmallows in them. Unfortunately, Panda couldn't come with you guys because well... he's a panda. Trying to hide a panda at a public mall would be very difficult, if not impossible.
