The door jingle as Hyunsuk and Jihoon enter the bar. Some eyes are on them for a second and they continue with their businesses. Jihoon puts his hand on Hyunsuk's waist as if a hint to everyone that Hyunsuk is his. He didn't forget to throw a glare at those who look at Hyunsuk. It's either they are intentionally or unintentionally. Either way, he still has to make sure no one hitting on Hyunsuk.

"Hyunsuk!" He forgets about this one. Kim. A man who looks like would fight the whole world just to get want he wants. Kim looks composed as usual.

Hyunsuk walks toward the bar counter and takes a seat on a stool. Jihoon just follows his lead. He turns his head to Hyunsuk. Hyunsuk's face is brimming with happiness. He brings his hand to Hyunsuk's hair and slid it behind his ear. "Pretty" he mutters.

"Hmm?" Hyunsuk turns at Jihoon's side. He receives a headshake from the latter which makes Hyunsuk tilts his head in confusion.

"Ok, lovey-dovey couple, what's your order?" Kim approaches them both with a glass in his hand. He smiles at them. Comes to think of it, Kim had never seen shows his upset face. He always greets others with a smile on his face. He then meets his eyes with Hyunsuk's.

Hyunsuk smiled at him. So does Kim. Strange, Hyunsuk feels a weird electric shock in his vein. It feels electrode to his heart which then leaves a throbbing pain. It's not hurt but rather tingling.

"Give me a glass of martini," Hyunsuk said with a fist on his chest. He takes a deep breath and holds Jihoon's hand as a hint to tell him it's his turn to order.

"A glass of margarita, please" Kim nodded and he proceeds to do the order. This might also be the first time Hyunsuk sees Kim making the order for him. Why didn't he notice this before? His lips quivering, head locked on the ground.

"Hyunsuk, are you okay?" Jihoon put his arm on Hyunsuk's back as a support for the latter. Kim quickly turns his head to Hyunsuk. His face was full with worried.

"Hyunsuk?! Get up." Jihoon glare at Kim as he tries to put his hand on Hyunsuk. Kim returns the gaze to Jihoon. Hyunsuk shakes his head.

"I am fine. Jihoon, I have something to talk about with Kim." Hyunsuk look at Jihoon. Shows an assurances smile. Getting no reaction from Jihoon, he moves closer to the latter and leaves a kiss on his cheek. Jihoon raises his head. "Please don't take too much time," Jihoon said. He then receives a nod from Hyunsuk.

"May you lead the way, Kim?" Kim then moves to his side and leads the way.

It's the alley where they first talk about Hyunsuk's feelings. Where Hyunsuk bawled his eyes out in front of Kim.

Kim takes out a stick of cigarettes and lights it up. The smokes fluttered to the sky. He put it in his mouth, inhales it before blowing out. The smoke ran out of his nose and mouth.

"Thanks, Kim." Hyunsuk finally opens his mouth.

"What for?" Kim said. He turns his head to Hyunsuk in confusion.

Hyunsuk smiled before he answered, "For everything. You've been there from my lowest to my highest. You make martinis for me despite having a new menu. You listened to me and keep offering me something new for my own good. Thanks for always smiling and greeting me warmly every time I entered the bar. Thanks-"

Before Hyunsuk could continue his words, his body got tugged by Kim. He leaves dumbfounded.

"Kim?" He tries to break the hug off but Kim tightens it.

"Let's stay like this for a moment. Let me say want I want to say this way." Hyunsuk is shocked but he doesn't try to break off the hug anymore.

"Hyunsuk, rather than thank me, I am the one that should thank you. Thanks for always coming to this old and shabby bar. Thanks for staying with us until you find your happiness. Thanks for being happy, Hyunsuk. Thank you." Kim's body shivered. Not knowing how to react, Hyunsuk brings his hand and pats Kim's back.

"I like you, Hyunsuk."

"... I like you too, Kim." Kim let out a chuckle hearing Hyunsuk.

"It surely great to hear it when no one waiting for you" Kim's hand gestured to the bar. Hyunsuk surprised. How can he forget he come here with Jihoon?

"Oh, I gotta go."

"Yeah, go on. I'll gonna have another one." Kim takes out a stick of cigarettes again as a gesture he will smoke before entering the bar. Hyunsuk smiles at him and leaves him alone. Again.

Kim sighing. He slit his hair back.

"Am I too late? Nah, I never in his heart, to begin with."

Five years ago, on a rainy day in spring, where Kim as usual minded his business shocked when he heard a loud jingling bell coming from the door. He is more shocked when he turns his head and looks at a completely wet customer. He thought the customer just wanted to wait till the rain stop before leaving but then he ordered a drink.

"The least popular drink please." Weird, usually, people ask for the most recommended or the most popular drink. This customer doesn't even look at him while asking for his order. He then just makes a glass of martini which is the least sold drink at the moment.

A glass, to two, three, and more glasses. All that time, not even once did the customer turn his head up. He just keeps on chugging his drink with a sobbing sound coming out of his small lips. Kim just looks at him until he leaves, staggering after giving his card for payment.

The next day, he comes again, and again. Until Kim gets to know his name. Hyunsuk. He always ordered the same drinks over and over again with a distant look in his eyes. Even when exchanging greetings, he never once sees a sparkle in Hyunsuk's eyes until one day someone talks to him. His eyes were full of love and care which Kim had never seen.

At that moment too, Kim feels a strange pain in his chest. Is it because Hyunsuk never looks at him the same way Hyunsuk looks at the guy? But why? The unknown feeling stayed in the deep core of his heart. He chose to ignore it but as days goes by, it feels stifling. He even started to empty if Hyunsuk don't come by. He always wanted to see him until he noticed the feeling he have for Hyunsuk.

"Jihoon is so lucky to have him. Kim, your done your part." Kim crushed the cigarette butt on the ground before throwing it into the nearest garbage bin.

The moment he entered the bar, his eyes caught two guys looking at each other with their eyes showing how deeply in love they both are. He slowly walked towards them.

"Kim, you're done with smoking?" Kim just smile when Hyunsuk asked him. He goes to the bar counter and picks up a glass.

"Can I have the new menu?" The words coming from Hyunsuk's lips surprised him. He ignored the sting in his chest and smiled at him. "Sure!"

"Hyunsuk. Let's go. You're too drunk." It is almost Hyunsuk's tenth glass of 'new menu'. He can't even sit straight. "One more. One more, Jihoonie~" Hyunsuk leans on Jihoon's body.

"Take him home." Jihoon turns his head at Kim. He then gives the card for payment. After it has been done, the card goes to him again.

"Thanks, Kim" Jihoon said while grabbing Hyunsuk's small body in his arm.

"Jihoon. Thanks for being Hyunsuk's happiness. My job here is done." Kim smiled at him. Something feels different but Jihoon chooses to ignore it as Hyunsuk keeps staggering.

"Bye, Kim. Got to go." Kim just nodded and see the couple off from where he is standing.

"Let's pack up guys." That night passes. The bar was closed for the first time after operating. One day, two days, weeks change to months, the bar has never opened again since that day.
