“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” – Lao Tzu

"What a great phrase." I turn my head to the familiar voice.

"Mashiho, you're here." I was shocked while looking at Mashiho. He was the same as before except for getting some wrinkles in the corner of his eyes.

"When I heard Professor Park Jihoon will hold his last exhibition, do you expect me not to be here?" Mashiho speaks. His eyes were still fixed on the painting. I just smile at him.

"Constellation, stars, love, life, spaces, and sea it all indefinite. We can't tell what's going on, what will be going on, and what's the story behind it. It is all mysterious. Like the portrait of our beautiful Choi Hyunsuk here." He said with his eyes not leaving the biggest painting in this exhibition.

"Hahaha, yeah. It's a shame to not share his beautifulness with the world. This is the only way I could tell the world he is mine. My love, my one and only." Mashiho sneered.

"Pfft. It cringes coming from an old man who already has gray hair, Jihoon. I remember how you were unable to draw any portrait before." Mashiho's words make me laugh.

"Yeah."

"Isn't this the painting that you couldn't finish years ago?"

"It is. All this time, he is the only person that could be my muse for my portrait painting. Everything becomes easier when it comes to him."

"You're lucky to have him."

"I am. You know, the moment he asks me who am I, I was scared. I don't know how to react. My heart almost breaks. I wonder what should I do? How can I live with someone who doesn't even know who am I? How could I love him the same way I did? But, just by looking at him, I know he is my Hyunsuk. Despite not being in his memory, I live in his heart." Mashiho chuckled while hearing me.

"So what will you do after this?"

"I just want to spend my time with Hyunsuk. I want to repay all those years we lost in our younger days. He surely is happy," just with the thought of it, my lips create a smile.

Years passed, and I finally got the professor's label of art major. This is not a smooth path. There are thorns, a deep-sea, and a hurricane all over the road but seeing Hyunsuk's smiling face while greetings me every time I am home makes me feel motivated. Just him being there gives me the courage to go forward.

If you wonder how my academy did, it did well. Due to the increasing number of students, our academy has to move to a bigger place and now, I have my school art with hundreds of students and tens of educators.

"Dad!" I comes to my sense as I heard a small young girl call her dad and run towards us.

"Yuki!" My eyes widened when I sees the young girl about 5 years old running to Mashiho's arm. He then lifted her. Both of them look alike. Her eyes are as big as Mashiho's.

"Mind introducing me?" I distracted the happy moments between them.

"Oh, sorry. Yuki, meet dad's friend, Professor Jihoon, Jihoon, meet my daughter, Yuki Takata." Mashiho beamed while introducing us both. Without any awkwardness, Yuki reaches my hand.

"Hi, two." Her cheeks puffed as she smiled. My heart was beating. The cuteness in her eyes touched my heart. Oh if only Hyunsuk could see her, he must be devastated.

I crouch down to meet our eyes. "Hi, Yuki. How old are you?" I forged a wide smile on my face. She then shows all of her 5 fingers to me gesturing she is 5 years old. I chuckled at her cute antics as I stood up.
