Chapter 10

Creak~~

Jihoon entered the double-story house. To celebrate Hyunsuk's 35th birthday, Jihoon bought a new house under his name as a give to Hyunsuk. After a few years of working hard, he finally could save enough money to buy the big house of his dream. Both of them moved to this new house 3 months before their trip.

After coming back from the trip, Jihoon started with his busy schedule. College life and also being the tutor at his academy. He even had less time to spend with Hyunsuk.

"Hyunsuk~~" he calls the guy out since he's not at Jihoon's sight. The whole house is dark. He wonders where did Hyunsuk go.

"Hyunsuk?" He stepped his feet to the kitchen. None. It's not like Hyunsuk is a small kid, but he never not tells him if he has business outside. His heart almost stopped when he sees their bedroom is disheveled.

"Hyunsuk!? Where are you?!" He steps closer to the bed. There's no crime scene hint happening. He let out a relieved sigh. As he walks closer to the bed, he could hear sobbing sounds coming from the balcony of the room. It was a lie to say if he didn't feel eerie. He goosebumps all over his body.

He obtains his courage and steps towards the balcony.

"Hyunsuk?!" His eyes widened up when he saw Hyunsuk sobbing on the ground. His eyes reddened. So does the tip of his nose. He grabbed that small body up and wrapped it under his arm.

"Why are you crying here?" Jihoon asks him softly.

"I couldn't find the wallet you gave me last week," Hyunsuk answered with his sniffle. Jihoon smiled when heard Hyunsuk's answer.

"Geez, I thought something bad happening."

"But you bought it for me."

"Don't you always put it in a cupboard?" Jihoon looks at Hyunsuk.

"I can't find it there."

"It's fine. Do you remember where the last time you put it was?"

"I don't. Even how many times I tried to remember it, I can't. What if I misplace it somewhere and it gets stolen." Hyunsuk cried again.

"Okay, okay. We will look for it together, okay? Cheer up. I bought your favorite fried chicken. Let's have dinner first, hmm?" Jihoon cupped Hyunsuk's face and place a kiss on his lips. With that, Hyunsuk silently follows Jihoon to the kitchen.

The dinner went on as smoothly as usual. At that time, Hyunsuk seems to have forgotten about the wallet. After the dinner is done, he goes to the sink and washes the dishes as Jihoon has a shower upstairs.

Jihoon's eyes caught a black leather thingy on the sink shelf in the shower room. He picks it up.

"Eh, it's here." Jihoon chuckle. How careless Hyunsuk is. He misplaces the wallet. Glad he could find it. He never knows that the wallet was this precious to Hyunsuk. Or it is precious because it was from him.

Jihoon could feel something weird in his stomach. It feels like thousands of butterflies flying in his stomach. His face flushed red.

"God, he's so cute." He covered his mouth with his hand and continue showering.

"You found it?!" Hyunsuk grabbed the wallet from Jihoon's hand. He checks the inside of the wallet scared if he missing any cards. Glad everything's still there. His eyes curved up as he smile.

"You love the wallet so much that you're crying over it?" Even though Jihoon could guess the answers, he still have the urge to ask Hyunsuk the question. He looks at Hyunsuk with a face full of expectations.

"No, I don't love the wallet," Something unexpected from Hyunsuk's lips. Jihoon's eyes droop.

"Then why are you crying?"

"Because I can't remember where I placed it. I keep thinking where was the last time I put and yet nothing comes to mind. How can I forget I put it on the sink shelf because I took off my clothes there." Hyunsuk facepalm.

"Oh, please take note about it next time. So you won't forget about it anymore." Jihoon ruffles Hyunsuk's head. He then moves his head closer to Hyunsuk and crashes his lips with him while his hand sneakingly slipped under Hyunsuk's shirt. So there goes the lovely couple having their hot and sexy night.

"Why are you grabbing ketchup again?" Jihoon asked as he noticed Hyunsuk about to grab the ketchup.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Hyunsuk tilted his head in confusion?

After having breakfast, Hyunsuk told Jihoon that they are running out of groceries stuff, so they decided to do grocery shopping since both of them are on a break. At the same time, they could go out for a date since they haven't had any date since they are out on the trip last time.

"You just take this one." Jihoon takes out a bottle of ketchup from their cart. Looking at that, Hyunsuk holds his stomach and laughs out loud, followed by Jihoon.

"What are you thinking of that making your mind wander around?" Jihoon asked as he push the cart to their car.

Silent. Hyunsuk doesn't even know what he's thinking. He looks at Jihoon and shrugs it off with a smile.

"Jihoon, let's have a stroll at the park. I miss going there." Hyunsuk said after they put their groceries in the car boot.

"Okay."

Hyunsuk takes Jihoon's hand and clasps it making Jihoon turn his head towards him. Hyunsuk just looks straight as if nothing happens. It's not that Jihoon didn't feel happy about it, but it was the first time Hyunsuk initiated the affection.

They take a seat at the nearest bench. Hyunsuk takes his phone out and takes a few shots of the sky, the views, surroundings, and also the man next to him.

He feels satisfied with the shots.

"Let me see the photos," Jihoon said. Hyunsuk moves his body closer to Jihoon and shows him the photos he took.

"Wow, I looked good in here." Jihoon point at a photo where he smiles widely at the camera.

"You always do." Hyunsuk chuckled. Jihoon then zoomed in on the photo since the background was more interesting.

"Look, at the old couple here. Hahaha, they look cute" Hyunsuk peeks over his phone and looks at the photos Jihoon showed.

"Yeah, they are." Hyunsuk beaming. His eyes were glued to the photo.

"Do you think we could be like them? Growing old together." Hyunsuk asked while his eyes were still on the phone. Jihoon was taken aback by Hyunsuk's words. He pulls Hyunsuk to his arm.

"Why are asking that obvious question? Are thinking of leaving me?" Jihoon asks with some hint of joking in his tone.

"Jihoon, you promise to be with me no matter what happened right?" Hyunsuk clasps his hand with Jihoon's.

"Choi Hyunsuk, loving you is not an option. It's a must. Without you by my side, I don't think I can go through my day as usual. Even if one day you don't recognize my voice, I still love you. I will be with you as long as I can until you push me away." Jihoon places a kiss on Hyunsuk's forehead.

"I will never push you away, Jihoon."  A glass of bead drops from the corner of Hyunsuk eyes. He quickly wiped it away afraid Jihoon could see his face.
