Hyunsuk blinked his eyes. His nostril flared as he smell delicious food coming from the kitchen.  Slowly, he rises from the bed and heads to the kitchen with the blanket covering his body. He chuckled when he saw someone looking busy in the kitchen with his blue-sky apron.

He then sneakingly walks towards the guy. Before the ability to get closer, his body was dragged into an embrace.

"Wanna surprised me?"

"Ji-Jihoon." Hyunsuk face reddened. Looking at Hyunsuk's face, Jihoon moves his head closer to Hyunsuk and meets their lips together.

"Sit there and wait for me, hmm?" Hyunsuk nodded and walk to the dinner table.

The view of Jihoon cooking breakfast is such a pleasant view. He never imagined celebrating his birthday with Jihoon.

All these years, celebrating his own birthday is something he despises. He never feels the need to celebrate it as he grows older. Every year, it is always the same kind of celebration where he just sits at his usually go restaurant and drinks a bowl of seaweed soup. He doesn't have any friends, to begin with, to celebrate the birthday party with him. 

Jihoon turned around and looked at Hyunsuk. As they locked their gazes together, Jihoon throws a smile at him which later makes Hyunsuk blush.

"Geez, man. He's so cute." Jihoon mumbled to himself. He then scoops some seaweed soup into two bowls.

"Happy birthday, dear." He said before leaving a peck on Hyunsuk's forehead. "Thanks," Hyunsuk said with teary eyes. Noticing it, Jihoon wipes Hyunsuk's eyes and said," Let's head out after having our breakfast."

Glad the weather is on their side. The day was pleasant since the morning. Jihoon intertwined his hand with Hyunsuk's. He could feel the sweat from the latter's palm. Every time he turn to his side, he always caught Hyunsuk fidgeting or shy. That he can't help himself but tease him.

"You look cute," he whispered to Hyunsuk's ear.

"AAA JIHOON!" Hyunsuk jolted. He accidentally raises his voice which caught people near their attention.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA, I love you so much."

"JIHOON!"

Hyunsuk is mesmerized by the views he saw when he feels a warm body wrapped around him.

"How do you like it?" Jihoon asked as he put his head on Hyunsuk's shoulder.

"I like it so much. Thanks for the gift, Jihoon!" Hyunsuk's eyes close as he smiling leaves a weird feeling in Jihoon's heart. The talks that he has with a student of his during their academy event last time across his mind.

"What are you looking at so enthusiastic, sir?" Giyu asked Jihoon who is eyes were glued to the glass door. There are several expensive watches displayed behind the glass.

Giyu also then looks at what Jihoon looking at. He has never seen someone with such a serious face while looking for a watch before. "Are you at any chance looking for a gift for your lover, sir?" Jihoon looked at him. This kid knows how to hit the spot.

"Y-yeah."

"Did your lover probably like the watch?" Giyu asked with his eyes still fixed on the glass box. How can he answer that? This is the first time he ever bought a gift for Hyunsuk's birthday and he could afford all of this watch if he ever wanted. Jihoon let out a loud sigh.

"Let's go."

"Giving up?"

"Why would I but something if he could afford it."
