Almost two weeks had passed by, and neither I nor Miles had talked, we barely look at each other. He's been out for the most part almost every night, I hear Him sneaking back into the mansion. Other than that this house is so silent you could hear a pin drop.

About two days ago I finally got a call from Giana, she says she's been extremely busy, that's just her way of saying that she's completely forgotten about me.

Right now I and Brooklyn were sitting out in the living room, watching a movie. "So you lived with your aunt, cousin, and uncle" Brooklyn and I had been talking quite a lot lately, sometimes when Jade was off she'd come to join us.

"Yeah I did" I smiled softly "What's your cousin like? Matteo was it," she asked

"He's sweet and funny" I laughed thinking about the old times, and Brooklyn smiled softly "I bet you miss him" Brooklyn's tone was soft, she was probably one of the nicest people I've ever met.

I nodded "I do" I sniffed but didn't cry, crying makes people weak. And that's something I wasn't, my moms' voice ran through my head, 'le ragazze grandi non piangono' A chill ran down my spine. [translation: big girls don't cry]

Just then we heard the door open and footsteps. Brooklyn turned to face the doorway, and as did I. We were met with the faces of Miles and Tony.

Tony spotted me and smiled "Hello pretty lady" I smiled softly and Brooklyn just looked confused. "Hello Tony," I said with a giggle.

Miles cleared his throat which made me and Tony's gaze snap in his direction. "I didn't know you two were hanging out," Miles said calmly as I rolled my eyes. "How could you know" I snapped "You've never once asked me what I was doing nor did you care" I sighed

"Simon please" he paused "Can we talk about this later" Miles begged. I rolled my eyes with a scoff "There's nothing to talk about Miles" I turned around to the tv. Eventually, I heard footsteps receding. "What was that about," Brooklyn asked.

"Nothing, Brooklyn" I replied.

A while later Brooklyn fell asleep on the couch. I had moved to the other couch so we had more room. I had been tossing and turning the entire night, I heard voices coming from upstairs. I groaned and got up. The cold floor hit my feet. I walked up the stairs slowly due to my being tired. I have seen the light from the room, the office room.

I hesitated before opening the door. "Simon" Tony said and Miles turned his attention to me.

"Could you be any louder" I rubbed my eyes. "Sorry pretty girl- "Tony we talked about this" Miles said warningly, and Tony smiled "Your boy toy doesn't like when I used nicknames for you Simon" he laughed.

"Listen I don't care, I just want you two, to shut the fuck up" I snapped, I wasn't really in the mood for their bullshit. I turned around ready to walk out the door but just then Miles called out to me.

"Simon we need to talk" Miles's voice was stern and warning. I rolled my eyes "Do I need to repeat myself, there's nothing to talk about" I snapped "She's a feisty one" Tony remarked and my intense gaze snapped in his direction. "Tony will you leave us to talk," Miles asked calmly "What did I tell you- "please Tony" Miles cut me off. Tony nodded and left the room.

I scoffed "You've got to be kidding me" rolling my eyes for the thousandth time this night. "Simon we haven't talked in weeks- "That's a good thing, Miles," I said louder than I hoped.

"Simon please just hear me out" he begged

"You have five minutes" I crossed my arms over my chest, and I decided to take a seat if I was going to hear him talk. "Listen, you have dinner plans with your family tomorrow night, we need to act like a couple and show them I'm treating you right," he said, "show them?" I scoffed "How about you treat me right"
