The sick, beautiful biography of Hazel

// 2 // The accident

Hey It's me Gracie :-) 

I have been busy lately so that is why I have been away from this world. I had final exams of my senior year and moved to the new house so i didn't have time to write these books. But now hopefully I passed those two exams and I will be graduating at June 3rd... at least I hope so 

The ending of the 2nd chapter was very confusing, actually even I don't know what I meant

So it has been almost one month since I last time wrote in here. So welcome back to Hazel's life 

Hazel 

What is this darkness out there and those sirens... and those voices? 

"The patient is Hazel Grace Lancaster. She is sixteen year old. Injured her right leg at the basketball came, oh and she is cheerleader captain. Have been unconscious since we gave the 10 mg morphine for pain relief.  Her blood pressure is quite high because of shock, oxygen is low because of unconsciousness"

"The leg need to be fixed at the surgery! "

"Give the more pain relief for her, she is waking up soon"

I see the white light  and hear those beeping voices all around of me. I am at the hospital, eh how do I know that... The ER is my another home because of cheerleading. This is not  the first time I am at the recovery room after and operation. That is the main reason why my parents do wish that I would quit the hobby. They do thing that it is too dangerous for me. 

I've gotta say that I don't feel the pain anymore, those leg injuries are normal thing for me. Or then it is because the nurses gave so much morphine for me. 

I don't have so many memories from accident... I just remember that we were doing the cheerleading thing where you just basically lift the person on your shoulders. You are not supposed to fall to the ground but that is what happened for me. Caroline and Kaithlyn were lifting me up but then Caroline lost her grip and landed on my right leg and lost consciousness. 

I really don't think that Caroline did it by means but there is that opportunity too. She is jealous about Augustus and I know that. But I also know that she is not gonna get between us! She has the opportunity once but she failed it by herself.

Hang on where am I? Why does this room look so familiar. The blue and white color theme. And why is that blonde haired woman so mad at me, what have I done? I know that his room belongs to girl the one who is cheerleader. But there are twenty cheerleaders in our high school. 

ten minutes later...

I mean I was at that bedroom ten minutes ago. Now I am at the car of my girlfriends parents. And they do not seem to be very happy. It looks like I drank a little bit too much and then fell asleep. So when Hazel's mom found me at her room she was angry, now she is just worried because of the phone call that she got... I just don't know from where. 

Okay so it looks like we are going to the central hospital, children' ward. Hazel has injured the knee of her right leg and it needed to be operated. I am just wondering why and how she did injured her knee, but doctor said for her mother that the school called the ambulance when Hazel fell to the ground while cheerleaders tried to make the one of the most difficult movements of Cheerleading. The pyramid. 

I wish that Hazel's parents are not so angry for her after they found me at her room.
