Persona : Memoria Island

Episode 2 : Back home.

A small melody is heard, followed by a voice on the microphone that announces the landing of the flight from Seoul to Tokyo. Tatsuya takes off his headphones and understands during the second announcement in English, that he has to leave the flight. So he puts on his music and detaches himself, he packs up his belongings and gets out of the plane, greeting the flight attendants. He recovers his suitcase at the level of the treadmills and goes towards the exit, his size allows him to see over the crowd and to see in the distance his father, dressed in a fairly sober work outfit, consisting of a simple suit with a tie, slightly neglected. His hair was shortly shaved, he was not very tall and his face looked rather young for his age. He looked more in his thirties than in his forties. He's holding a sign with "Happy Return Tatsuya" written on it. Somewhat embarrassed he hastens to join his father and during their hugs he grabs the sign to put it in the trash. They go together to the parking lot and get into his father's German car and start. On the way, they pass together at the Big Bang Burger to pick up some food and finally arrive at their destinations. Tatsuya then takes his bag and his suitcase in the trunk. He goes down and greets his father who then says to him:

"Your mother doesn't even bother to come and get you, but she demands that you be at home, in short. Here you are, in a new establishment, it is a chance that you get away with what happened. Even if what he said wasn't legitimate, you should never have gotten to this point. Plus, since my accident, I'm gonna have to stop driving after my surgery and be immobilized for a while, so you're forced to come back here full-time. Good luck, I hope that at least here people will leave you alone and that this harassment bullshit is far behind you. See you in a week and have a good start!".

He then closes the window and goes home. Tatsuya then goes up the steps of his new home and knocks at the door. A shadow is perceived through the blurred glass, when the lock is unlocked, the door opens and Akihiko comes out, Tatsuya's older brother. This one is of the same scope as Tatsuya, the only notable differences are that he has glasses and shaved hair on the side in a European way, as well as a face slightly less neat and with less fine features than that of his younger brother. At the sight of his brother, his face goes radically from exhaustion to joy, then he says:

"You are finally back! I'm sick of each other, even if we have a better living environment than at Dad's, she's still as unbearable to yell at nothing all the time. But at least this time she met someone good, his name is Nicolas and he's inside cooking.", to which Tatsuya replied:

"You surprise me, she hasn't changed, I hope that at least with this one it will be different. Is Jin there?".

His sentence does not end that the kid arrives behind Akihiko and jumps in Tatsuya's arms shouting his name. Tatsuya then greets him with open arms and steps back, they discuss a little to take news of each and Tatsuya explains the reason for his return here. He learns during their discussions that their mothers will not return until very late and that he will not see her until tomorrow, which without lying reassures him, the more he avoids her, the better he is. So he returns and quickly greets his new father-in-law who warmly welcomes him. He then comes to sit on the sofa and enjoy his meal alone. Once finished, he goes up to his new room, a bunk bed that he shares with his big brother, so he prepares his bag and his uniform for the new school year tomorrow and aerates the room by opening the window. He passes his head to look a bit at his neighborhood and crosses on his right a charming girl doing the same thing and on his phone, their eyes cross and Tatsuya intimidated moves away from the window. This was not the first time he met her, he had already seen her when he came to visit the house when his mother was going to buy it, and this girl had earned the nickname "salt", given that his mother had told him to go ask their neighbours for salt, so that he could have a chance to see her and have a talk with her. Wanting to think about something else and get as far away from love as possible for this year, because of all his previous experiences that had ended badly, he then goes to bed to think about something else, and falls asleep little by little.
