Persona : Memoria Island

Episode 3 : The Velvet Room.

His mind wanders in a strange void, where blue and black mingle, he crosses chains when suddenly in front of him, a light in the form of a door approaches him, until he crosses it. He then opens his eyes again after hearing a loud bell ringing near him, and notices that his clothes are now those of a patient in hospital, a long white dress and on a table next to him are a hospital shirt. He watches around him and is in a kind of torture room, with a TV news in front of his bed talking about how he got arrested. He gets up and goes through the operating room to get out of this creepy place. He arrives at the level of what seems to be a parlor, overlooking a large room with a majestic chandelier in height, and below it a wooden table with a feather on top, sheets, a lamp and a microphone. A man with a long nose was sitting at this desk, staring at Tatsuya with a large and indescribable smile. Tatsuya then comes to sit in the visiting room and takes the phone to hear the man speak. The latter then says:

"Welcome to the Velvet Room. This place is between dream and reality, conscious and unconscious. It is a room where only those who are bound to a contract can enter. Nice to meet you, patient, we finally meet. I'm the one who called you to invite you to this place, and help you get out of this situation that the world has trapped you in. My name is Igor, remember that. It's really fascinating, the Velvet Room takes the form of the reflection of your soul, and so here we are in an intensive care service, in a psychiatric hospital, the vision you have of yourself seems rather obscure. Long story short, we are here to talk about important things, you are a prisoner of destiny, in the near future the ruin will fall on you. Nevertheless there is a way to oppose it. You need to be rehabilitated, it is the only way. I hope your will is high enough."

Tatsuya then came to interrupt him and asked what ruin was, and what he meant by rehabilitation. Igor takes a breath and says:
"You will discover by yourself and get used to your situation, your guards are not there yet, I guess I will make the presentations later, they will be there to guide you on the way to your rehabilitation. We're running out of time and you're gonna wake up soon. We'll talk again at our next meeting, if that's the case."
A bell rings like the first time and then it ends:
"It is time, now go back to sleep, we will see each other again, some other time, patient.".

Tatsuya, understanding that it was pointless to contest more, returns to the operating room and lies down on the bed. He closes his eyes slowly and returns to his sleep after crossing again the nebulous space that separated the Velvet Room from his dreams.
