The sun goes through the curtains of his window, he wakes up and quickly gets ready to take the bus that goes directly to his new school. He crosses the portal of it and looks for his class with the posters on the walls. The back to school is normal, nothing special happens, the students briefly introduce themselves to the board and then come back to sit down, only notable person is that his neighbor whom he had seen the day before was surprisingly in his class. The day passes and the meal break finally rings. He goes out and sits on the roof to eat his bento that he had time to prepare. The place was rather quiet until a man with a dark skin and a rather imposing body joined him. This boy was also in his class and headed towards Tatsuya. He smiles and asks him if he can sit next to Tatsuya, which he does not refuse to appear rude. He then presents himself as Tinomoe, a Tahitian who came to study here under the tutelage of a host family. The two boys talk during their meals and Tatsuya tells him that he is from South Korea, and that he had to come to study here because of problems he encountered last year. He lived alone but now has to join his family cocoon which he considered toxic. The discussion between new friends continues, they discover that they are also in the same language option, and that they will be together in Chinese classes. Speaking of Chinese, the bells ring and classes start again, they head together to the room and return to class. It is rather dynamic thanks to their teacher that keeps a constant interaction between them and the class, and only uses oral teaching rather than writing, in order to help students to memorize the basics of Chinese. The class ends and the class empties, Tatsuya always with his cold look stuck on his face, judges others. He then quietly tidies up his belongings and a person approaches him. He doesn't have time to look up at her when that girl comes over and puts her hands loudly on her table and yells, "Are you my neighbor?!". Embarrassed by the situation, he answers a little "yes", as soon as his sentence is over, she shouts again "OK!" and leaves the room at full speed. Not understanding what had just happened to him, he decides to just put his things away and think about it later. When he leaves the room, he sees her in a group of three girls, one of whom, a little blonde with European features, comes to ask if she had managed to get "her number". This lets him understand he his the subject of their discussion, and moves away quickly to avoid all this. Coming out of a class at break a group of girls comes to him to talk to him. He learns that they have seen his Blackpink sweater and that they are also fans of K-pop. He meets Mariko, a little one with a rather enterprising and noisy, with a blonde coloration, an Emi, who seems rather reserved and discreet, as well as the famous girl of earlier, Misaki who appeared to be his neighbor. After a short discussion and social media exchange to talk to each other outside of school, the group moves away from the boy who goes out to put on his headphones and leave. On the way, he meets a very smiling girl with short hair who catches his attention, but he thinks that with his problems it is better not to get attached to anyone. Outside, he sees Misaki coming towards him when she sees him. The two quickly discuss together and decide to walk back together. Tatsuya feels his phone vibrating right outside the door of his home and looks at it, he notices the appearance of a new app on his phone that he does not know.

He remains intrigued but says that it must be a virus and he'll deal with it latern so he erase it. The two new friends think that since they are neighbours, why not go to school together? But before returning home, Tatsuya makes a stop outside his door and says to Misaki:
"I warn you... my mom isn't the funniest person in the world. With you she will surely be very warm but it is only a mask.
-Oh, ok... what's her name?
-Ha-Neul... Kwang. She thinks she's a corporate boss, the kind of cliché that takes her employees for shit, and constantly takes them down, the kind that pretends to do everything in the company, but the only thing she really does is order others to do everything. Anyway, sorry to scare you for nothing since she won't do nothing bad to you, welcome to my house.".
