Shigeo: I'd like to hang out with you and atleast make you feel a little bit better?

Shigeo: It's not really nice to leave a girl sulking for being rejected.

What the fuck? Aren't we going a little too fast.' She started at her phone, shocked since she was just asked out.

She didn't know how to reject him.

She sighed and had no choice but to give in to him, to atleast not make anything more awkward.

Shigeo!

I'm free at 2 PM, are you? :You

Shigeo: Yes, i'll see you then.

"Mom, can I hangout with a couple of girl friends infront of school?" She lied, the only way she could hangout with people.

"What's her name?" She yelled from the kitchen, watching dishes. This was the time where her father had to go to a business trip in a different country.

"Hitomi." The first name that came into her mind, it was convincing and can easily fool a clueless mom.

It was quiet for some time, 'Make it quick, please.'

"Fine. What time?"

"2 PM, I'll be back at 5."

"Alright."

She went into her room and silently danced and screamed, in order not to disturb her mom and have suspicion.

She went on her phone and saw a few posts of her classmates in different places around the city.

She felt jealous obviously, the only time she could wander around is during a family reunion or having to visit a friend for school work which isn't even close to exploring the city.

She felt rather, excited. Hanging out to someone who was willing to know you and make you feel better after being rejected.

She felt nice, she felt like she finally had a friend by her side.

"Y/N!" She looked up and saw Shigeo waving at her, she smiled and walked up to him.

"Sorry I'm a bit late, a lot of people isn't really pleasing."

He just laughed a little, "I understand your situation, it's fine."

"I found this café that is really popular lately, I'll treat you."

Her cheeks felt red from embarassment. "You don't have to!"

He smiled, "It's something to make you feel better right?"

Y/N looked at him and sighed, "It's fine. As long as I'm with someone I'm comfortable with and I consider as a friend."

Shigeo's face was red as a tomato, he didn't respond since he was too stunned on what she said.

"Thank you."

Both of them went in the park and bought cotton candy, talked and laughed on the bench, it wasn't hanging out or anything. It felt like more like a date.

But obviously, both weren't aware just yet.

Time passed by, they were both laughing their ass off.

Shigeo smiled looking at her, "I'm glad I could make your day just a little bit better, Y/N."

She laughed again, "What do you mean a little bit better? You made my whole day, Shigeo. Thank you.."

"And please, call me F/N. I don't mind at all."

Y/N looked at her watched and choked on her water, "Shigeo! it's 4:55, I have to go home, sorry!"

She stood up and dashed and waved goodbye, and so did Shigeo.

beiz: progress, also the last chapter i made was in march 31st and it's currently april 9th, it was a good rest.

beiz: i also changed the layout since it looked really off.
