"Is that Kie and Sarah on the boat too?" I ask, me and JJ sat with our legs over board as we waited for jb and pope to finally come get us.
"Looks like we weren't the only ones who were stuck somewhere for 24 hours" he shook his head jumping on John boat as soon as it got close enough.
"You friends again?" Pope looked between me and JJ.
"Because they are" John b pointed to Sarah and Kie.

"Yeah we're good, let's go get this gold" I smile jumping on the boat also.
JJ kept catching my eye smirking a little when he did so, he was talking to Kie about how they were gunna get the gold.
"Alright so I'm thinking we go tonight?" John b spoke loudly jumping off the boat tying it to his dock outside his house.
"Yeah I'm down" I follow his lead walking towards the grass.
Everyone sat down cracking open some beers.

JJ kept staring at me from across the grass, Kie next to him.
His cocky smirk making me feel like everyone knew what was going on between us.
"Jb can you give me a hand inside?" I widen my eyes at the boy hoping he doesn't ask questions and just follows me.
"Yeah" he coughs standing up, we make our way to his kitchen.
"What was that about?" He questioned suspiciously.

"Me and JJ we-" I rub my eyes with my hand, he tilted his head with a little smile.
"You guys slept together didn't you?" He shook his head with a humorous laugh.
"Yes- well no not technically" I huff leaning against the counter.
"So you did other stuff except sleep together?" John raised his eye brows, why was he finding this so entertaining??
"Yeah" I groan in annoyance.

"What's that got to do with me?" He shrugged grabbing a towel off the side.
"I just needed to tell someone, I don't know? Just please don't tell the others, we're not together or anything so just keep it to yourself" I close my eyes for a second longer then I should before opening them, he nods walking outside.

This is bad. Everyone would be annoyed.

I follow John b out, the sun was setting.
"Alright then lets go" JJ picked up some rope before jumping in the van.
We all jump in one by one, me , JJ , Pope and Kie were in the back as Sarah and John took the front of the van.
Music played in the van as we approached the Crain house.
The night was darker then ever, we all stood in front of the wall. Almost scared.

"Ok lets get this gold right jb" I smile at the boy as we do our hand shake.
John b pushed me up the wall first, my feet hit the ground with a thud.
"Alright I'm over!" I whisper shout as the rest of my friends jump over.
We all start to creep towards the house slowly, JJ caught up to the front next to me.
"You alright?" He bumped shoulders with me, I side eye him nodding as I smile back at the boy.

"Shit!" That's when the light turns on, motion sensor lights great.
Me and JJ both bump into each other before we roll around hiding behind a hedge.
I start to giggle slightly "sorry-" I shake my head smirking at JJ as we both practically jumped into each other.
"She has motion sensor lights- so?" Pope gasped looking at all of us.
"We could all just walk really slowly? Maybe?" JJ really wasn't the brightest.

"That won't work dumbass" I frown looking at the floor.
"You got any better ideas?!" JJ fired back and I scoff.
"Shut up, your both like children" Kie groaned at us both.
We all sit there for a second thinking "what if we just throw a rock at it?" John b raised his brows cleverly. Ok I take it back. JJ definitely wasn't the dumbest.

"Are you being serious?" I couldn't control the giggle that escaped my lips.
"Yeah let's alert the axe murderer that we're here real smart" Sarah shook her head in frustration.
"What about the breaker? In the circuit box on the porch. We used to play hide and seek here as kids. If we were brave enough, we'd go all the way to the porch. I've seen it" the blonde went on, Sarah and Pope were definitely the brightest in this moment.
