Crazy

Fluttering my eyes, I finally start to wake, I was slumped against JJ's chest on the sofa, the soft morning sun peaking through the windows.
"JJ" I whisper, shaking him slightly, he groans but finally wakes.
"Hey" he softly smiled down at me, I swallow sitting up more.
"Hey" I chuckle back a little, Almost feeling awkward.

"What do you want to do today?" JJ sat up meeting my gaze.
Squeezing my nails into my palms I shrug "I don't know" I shrug stand up quickly, walking into the bathroom shutting the door in JJ's face as he tries to follow me.
"Did I do something?" The blonde whispered against the door, my eyes started to the water as I covered my mouth trying to be quiet.
"I don't know" I answer, I felt like I was losing my mind, I don't even remember getting here last night.

"Lexi are you feeling ok?" He asked gently, I could practically feel his body leaning against the wooden frame.
"JJ I-" stopping myself, I open the door to see him looking at me with concerned eyes.
"You didn't do anything- I just feel like nothing will ever be ok again" his eyes shifted to my hands, he looked at me almost confused.
"When did that start again?" He gestured to the red nail marks left in my palm.

I close my hand hiding them from him as I shuffle on my feet.
"It doesn't matter" pushing past him, he grabs me, I start to put up a fight, flapping and waving my hands about so he'd let go of me.
"Let go!" I scream out trying to worm out of his hands but he was to strong.
He pushed us both into his room stepping g in front of the door as he let me go.
Jumping away from him with a furious face, I try to push him out the way of the door.

"Let me out now!" I point to the door and he just stood there.
"When did it start again Lexi?" His brows raised and I start to laugh, shaking my head as I turn away from him, pacing slightly.
"You think that's funny? Harming yourself?" Finally meeting his eyes again, I see his were glassy and heartbroken.

"What did you think was gunna happen?! That I was just gunna walk around like everything was fine and that it actually was?!" Scoffing as my voice raised his face becomes saddened.
"When Lexi?" Not diverting from the original question, I stand there with angry eyes.
"So me digging my nails into my palms is harming myself but your drinking problems all fine is it?! Your a fucking hypocrite!" Pointing at him, his face didn't change one bit.

"This isn't about me Lexi. When?" He questioned again making me laugh into the air.
"When the treasure hunt started! That what you want to hear huh?! You happy now?!" Mocking him, he narrows his eyes at me, almost studying my behaviour.
"I want to help you" he spoke calmly and I couldn't control my laughter.

"Help me? You can't even help yourself! So how the hell are you going to help me?" My breathing become faster, his face dropped a little.
JJ knew something was different with Lexi, she wasn't normally like this, so on edge, so rude and defensive.
He recognised the behaviour in her, he just didn't know where from.
She was acting like he was attacking her, like he'd done something wrong, one minute she'd be kissing him or confessing her love and then she'd hate his guts.

"I can't help you if you don't tell me what's really going on right now" JJ stared at the agitated girl, she looked like she'd slept in a brush.
Her hair was messy, she hard dark circles, her skin was paler, she'd lost weight and looked drained in every way possible.
She was acting out but why?
"Nothing is going on! Please JJ just" her voice became softer again, JJ however didn't fall for it.

"Just forget about it and we'll go out for food or something?" Her eyes fluttered at him and he shook his head.
That's when police sirens sounded outside, that's when Lexi's thought process came back, her parents would be looking for her.
"What the hell? Stay here Lexi. You hear me?" JJ pointed at her before leaving the room, closing the door behind him.
She needed to get out of there, opening the bedroom window she quickly jumped out, her feet landing funny almost making her grunt.
