Chapter 7 (Blue's POV)
"I have decided that I will be hosting an elimination party after dinner tonight. Wear your best suits, because for some of you this is your last night. Also you will have to perform something for me and try to impress me. I saw a show one time and the birds did that. The female picked the prettiest one, so I guess it works. I'll see you at 7." There were gasps everywhere and I strutted away. Ha! I liked leaving them dumbfounded. They all raced to their rooms to get their butlers to make them fancy suits. In one night? HA! No way that was happening. It's like with the birds, if they're impressive it will come naturally.
But it didn't matter how hard they tried or how well they performed. My heart belonged to only one.
Until I saw Adam Parrish.
He was the only one left in the room, along with Gansey. He was pretty and shy and smart. And I could'nt feel myself falling in like with him. Is it possible to be in love with two people at once?
Sure! As long as neither of the victims find out.
Adam and Gansey seemed to be good friends already. They were talking about Ronan and what a jerk he was. I would exile him for being mean to my Gansey and my Adam, but he was too pretty. And he had a pet raven. How cool is that!
Elimination time! I got dressed in my m ost red dress. It was fluffy and fierce, perfect for intimidating people. And boy were they intimidated. When I walked into the room, which I had painted red for the occasion and with red balloons and flowers and rugs and everything was red because I was going to burn up their worlds.
I decided I would eliminate half the boys. The ugliest ones, of course. Overall I eliminated 12. Like Evan, who was too much of a crybaby, Noah because he was too transparent, and Romeo because he was taking things too fast.
But there was a twist.
