Chelsea POV

We seemed to be in an office a few arm chairs and a desk littered the room, it wasn't too large, the door at the far end flung open drawing our attention.

"Dakota, it's Sera, she's in a bad condition she's passed out in the hospital, I ... I..." the shewolf wouldn't have been too much older then I, my jealousy started to bubble even I hadn't called him by his name.

My nostrils must have been flaring because Jake had shoulder barged me.

DuVaunt gave the girl a nod gesturing back to the door, "please tell the others we have arrived," he commanded.

I started to open my mouth, "I know you have many questions and I'll answer them all I promise, for now I'm going to get you all a shower, a clean set of clothes and some food," he rose from his chair, "there's a lot to fill you all in on."

I couldn't even argue, what had happened?

Did Ren get out? Was he okay or in the dungeons awaiting his sentence?

The Council wouldn't take lightly to his treachery, all I could do was nod and follow DuVaunt as he led us through some hallways, it seemed like an old military bunker, but really well kept.

He led us up some stairs which seemed to take forever, from the events from the day the exhaustion was setting in, I felt my legs buckle as DuVaunt scooped me up bridal style. I didn't struggle I had no energy and his arms around me made my body sing to life, Aria perked up wanting to be with her mate.

We landed on a step platform which opened up to outside, it was beautiful green forest and some of the creatures I quickly noticed to be Fae. I raised my hand to my mouth looking over at Loey who still covered in blood looked just as shocked as I was. Jake however seemed unfazed, was he in on this?

DuVaunt quickly walked a few dirt tracks up to a beautiful wooden lodge, with a verandah and large windows, it was incredible. His arms tightened around me as he inhaled deeply,

"Wow," I whispered causing him to smile, he kneed the door open sliding in making himself at home he made his way up the stairs. I slid my hands up DuVaunt's chest around his neck, leaning my head in the crook of his neck, I felt safe.

"First room on the left is for you and Loey, clothes have been arranged when you are ready feel free to rest and we can talk in the morning," he explained to Jake who nodded guiding a shaken Loey within.

He lead me to the master bedroom where the bed was low set into part of the timer that was built up around it, the dark timber complimented the rosewood perfectly, with little accents of oak.

Crossing the room he walked into the bathroom which was equally incredible with a wall to floor window, a huge walk in shower separating me from the window. The tiles were a cross stitched turquoise which seemed rustic and modern all at the same time.

DuVaunt didn't seem like the home designer type, so this must have been another Marcel creation. My heart tightened, as DuVaunt sat me on the shower bench, he turned on the shower adjusting the temperature and heads to not hit my current position. He cared, in his own way.

"There's clothes right there," he gestured avoiding eye contact, "get some rest, we will talk tomorrow."

"Stay," I whispered.

"I shouldn't a lot has happened and..." he started drifting closer to me, Aria and I didn't want him out of our sight, nor around any other she wolves.

"Please," I whispered, chewing the inside of my cheek, I locked eyes with his beautiful chocolate eyes and I wanted a taste.

"Fine," he said roughly lunging for me as his lips met mine and we fought each other in the fits of passion, it was heated and all of it went straight to my core. I could feel my heart beating for him, he slipped his tongue inside my mouth moaning. My hands danced up with front of his shirt tearing it from his body, it didn't take long for us to completely destroy each others clothes, littering the shower chair with them.
