Ver'z Union States

The Union was a gigantic nation, second only to the Imperium. It is composed of 7 Kingdom, 5 Republics, 4 Autonomous Regions and 2 Autocratic states inside, their technical level in somewhere between 1840's and 1870's.

Despite their incredible technological level and hailed as the second strongest in the world, they paled in comparison to the Dwargon—A nation ruled by detested race of dwarves and the sole non-human race capable of standing side by side to the humans due to their immense technological advancement and famously hailed as master weapon smiths.

In power comparison, their prided Griffon and Wyvern Knights are too inferior to the Armed Flying Machine Mk. 10 which Abbreviated as AFaM Mark. 10, the dwargon flying machines which takes the form of biplanes, having the top speed of 490 kilometers per hour in contrast to their Flesh and blood mount which could only attain a speed of around 200 to 250 kilometers per hour. In offensive power, on the otherhand. The Biplanes is armed with four 19.5mm Heavy Machine guns which in earth is classified as autocannons thus anyone could say it was considered as overkill against soft targets like those griffons and wyverns. Also, the Biplanes could be massed produced in thousands.

Like in the air, the Sea is overwhelmingly favored the Dwargon. Their superdreadnoughts is simply unparalleled with an estimated length of 250 to 300 meters long, 60,000 to 100,000 tonnes of dead weight and armed to teeth with various oversized battleships guns caliber of 357mm, 406mm and 501mm. If the Union Ironclads pitted themselves against those dwargon monstrosities, none of them will return in their ports intact. Additionally, the union doesn't have the abilities to project airpower on sea like the Fleet Carriers employed by Dwargon, Instead they relied on flight capable mages with a feeble range and speed of pitiful 80 kilometers per hour.

Back on track, they are still arrogant despite being overshadowed by Dwargon militarily. Not only that, they are staunch advocate of Human Supremacists ideology. That's why there many idiotic people who wanted to conquer the dwargon despite the Union's definite inferiority against the sole Interworld war level nation capable of waging a war in unprecedent scale, and won't think twice using their nuclear arsenals—Yes, this is the sole country capable of manufacturing and developing nuclear weapons capable of rivalling a 'Castle Bravo' scale of destruction.

The irony is, nearly 70% of their scientific research and construction is either connected or a subsidiary of Dwargon based Firms. So, if they attack this country, it will cause a devastating effect on their technological advancement and potentially stagnated their level for the next decades.

One of the few families in Union who are tasked to maintain the equilibrium is the family of Sistiene, the Roseblade family.

".....Unkown B-rank mercenary?." (?)

"Yes Your Excellency." (Chamberlain?)

A Chamberlain looking person is reporting in front of a middle-aged person. A dignified one that you'll mistook for a king. At the same time, Father of Sistiene—Mikael Erst von Roseblade.

"I knew this guy already but..." (Mikael)

He paused for a second before continuing.

"It's like he popped out of nowhere." (Mikael)

"Indeed Your Excellency. He doesn't have any records nor we could find any shadow of this so-called Iserlohn Mercantilist Family." (Chamberlain)

"Hmm.... I can't really let my child on the side of that person." (Mikael)

He thinks it's dangerous to let an unknown stranger without any proper background to be near at Sistiene.

"Black hair ... Doesn't have any common sense of ordinary people and educated to an extent of those average lower nobility—He's like..."
