Chapter Two: Getting Away
Hope's POV
So as I'm on my way to the park right now to clear my head cause god I can't stand that man. He doesn't even get the title of my dad, and he never will. He may be my father but he will never be my dad.
Why does it always feel like someone is watching me? I turned around and inspected the area. All I saw was an abandoned park, a couple cars, and a white van. Eh nothing out of the ordinar... wait? A white van? Shit that better not be what I think it is.
I quickly picked up my pace towards my house, yeah I know I shouldn't be going back there but I have no where else to go and I would not like to be raped tonight so, to the house it is!
A couple more blocks, just a couple more blocks. I should be home in 5 minutes tops. oh how I wish my brother never left, then I wouldn't be in this situation.
I just have to look behind me to see if the van is following me, annnnd shit it is! I'm going to die
that's it,

3 more blocks come on!!! No, I can hear the van getting closer and closer and closer... wait, it's stopped moving? Have they given up because I sure as hell hope they did.
Finally I can stop looking like a freak while I'm walking and walk at a normal pace.
Is it just me or do I hear footsteps? Eh it's probably just a rabbit or deer or something. But it sounds like it's getting closer, finally I turn around and....
