Good to be Bad

Chapter 2

For context: this chapter will take place in Summer Cove and focus on the power rangers instead of Y/N. I am actually really liking where I'm heading with this story. I think it'll be cool to see these two stories combine. I have a ton of ideas to add to make it unique even with the preexisting plots. I hope you all enjoy this part!!

Levi's POV

Sarah and I were on a team against Hayley and Calvin as we were playing a friendly game of pool. It was neck and neck and we just had to get the 8 ball in in order to win the match.

"This shot'll be easy, just watch." I said while lining up my shot and sinking the 8 ball in the pocket.

"Nice shot Levi!" Sarah said, high-fiving me.

"Thank you, thank you." I replied while giving her a small bow.

"Okay, okay you two. We get it, you're masters at this." Calvin said sarcastically.

"Aw, don't be upset Cal. I mean, it isn't our fault we're so good at this." Sarah stated and leaned in closer to him to whisper, "It's a gift."

"Hey guys! What's up?" Brody greeted the four of us as he and Preston came up to the pool table.

"Levi and I were just kicking Hayley and Calvin's butts in pool... again." Sarah snickered as Calvin just rolled his eyes at her.

"So, what are you guys up to?" Hayley asked, turning towards the two of them.

"Actually, Preston and I came to get you, we were on our way to the base. Mick said there's something he wanted to show us." He said and we all went to see what Mick had to show us.

When we all arrive at the base Mick is quick to tell us what he was so eager to show us, "Hello rangers! Now, there's something I needed to show you all. Preston, your zord is the dragon zord right?" Preston responded with a confused 'yeah' and the rest of us all nod our heads for him to continue, "Well, take a look at the nexus prism."

He pointed towards the prism that was displaying a vision of a new zord, it was like Preston's but it was purple instead of blue.

"Woah, that looks just like my zord!" Preston exclaimed.

"That's right, now, I'm not sure what this all means yet. But I think it could really come in handy when we go up against Odius. And what's even better is it has all the same abilities but it comes with new features too. The prism showed a vision of the zord in action, it's quite powerful."

"Mick, that's great!" Hayley said excitedly.

"I'm not sure what to do though, Redbot and I forged a star with some of the ninja super steel but when we tried throwing it in the prism it didn't work." He replied.

"Don't worry guys, I'm sure we'll figure it out soon." Brody said, patting his shoulder.

"Maybe it's a test? Like the blaze zords? We had to prove ourselves worthy of them before we could actually reach in and grab the stars." Sarah suggested, spitballing ideas to the group.

"Yeah but we at least got the throwing stars into the prism, this one won't even budge." Brody replied.

"Well, if we can't get the star to work then how are we ever going to unlock the new zord?" Preston questioned. "Odius is getting more and more persistent. She's not going to stop until she has our power stars."

"Preston's right, what are we going to do?" Hayley asked.

"We'll figure it out. Don't worry guys, we can do this. Odius won't win." Brody said, trying to reassure himself.

I hope he's right.

A/N: Hello there! It is me! How are you guys? I hope you're enjoying the story so far. It's moving kind of slowly since it's chapter two and the main characters still have yet to even met (or technically be in the same place as each other). I like the pace though since it means that the story will last to be over ten chapters and have a lot for you guys to read. I can't wait to release the next part for you to enjoy!
