Chapter 5: The Discussion

Y/N and Megumi finished adding the decorations to the cake. Megumi smiled, "Ok, it looks good." Y/N nodded, "Yes, it seems to be exactly as we planned. We will most definitely receive a good grade with this. It's thanks to you, Tadokoro." Megumi blushed, "Oh no. You did as much as I did. It was both of us who worked on this. We're both responsible for this." Y/N looked at her, "I suppose. Well, we better make sure that nothing happens to it." Megumi nodded. As Y/N began packaging the cake, Megumi cleared her throat, "Uh, L/N?" The boy turned to her, "Yes." Megumi said, "Uh, about Erina and Souma. I just wanted to apologize." Y/N frowned, "What are you talking about?" Megumi said, "Well, uh, I was the one who introduced you to Souma and that's how he learned that Erina also disliked you and now they teamed up to hurt you." Y/N said, "Oh, that. Don't worry about that. They're just two more idiots who hate me. They'll most likely just be an annoyance. I have two sisters, so I'm used to it." Megumi replied, "Still, I feel bad that the three of you don't get along. I thought that you'd at least get along once you met." Y/N looked at the blue haired girl and furrowed his brows. He sighed, "Don't worry about it. I'll talk to them." Megumi looked at him and smiled slightly. 

Erina glared at the boy that was sitting across from her. Y/N had asked to talk to her when she had the chance. Luckily, she was available that very afternoon, which led to them sitting in her office. She was clearly unhappy to be around him, but the boy didn't seem to care. Erina was the first to speak up, "Ok, we're here. What did you want to talk about?" Y/N cleared his throat, "I need you and First Seat Yukihira to cease your hatred towards me." Erina was surprised at this. She growled, "What was that? You think my weeks long hatred can be dissipated by the pleas of the cause of said hatred. Are you messing with me?" Y/N sighed, "I'm just asking you and First Seat Yukihira not to hate me in the open. It seems to have caused some concern with Tenth Seat Tadokoro." Erina narrowed her eyes, "Oh, so this is for Megumi, is it? Didn't know you listened to her so much?" Erina didn't understand why she was getting so worked up. She knew that Megumi and L/N were classmates and got along, so it would make sense that Megumi would be worried about the three of them getting along. However, that did not make things better. Erina couldn't put her finger on it, but something about the entire ordeal pissed her off. Y/N looked at her, "You seem upset about that. Does that bother you?" Erina blushed, "What? No. What the two of you do has nothing to do with me?" She got serious, "But if you do anything to hurt her, I will end you." Y/N said, "Good for you. Just so you know, I have no interest in doing anything to Tenth Seat Tadokoro." He stood up and left. As he reached the door, he turned back to the headmaster, "Oh, Principal Nakiri. Please inform the First Seat what we discussed today. He would not listen to me even if I talked to him." Erina chuckled slightly, "Yeah, that does make sense. Yukihira isn't the type to listen to anyone if he's doesn't want to." Y/N looked at Erina and saw the face she made when she talked about Souma. He hummed, "Hmm, interesting." Erina was brought back to reality by his words, "Huh, what do you mean?" Y/N turned to the door and walked out, "Nothing in particular." Erina watched as the boy left and felt like he was thinking something strange.
